Today we’ve been going a thousand miles an hour keeping the flower stand filled. We’ve just added our chocolate coated fresh strawberries to the stand because Valentines Day is all about flowers and chocolate ❤️ Happy Valentines Day Folks 🥰

Our bee colonies are so relaxing to watch. Our honey bees flying in and out bringing back pollen to the hive. Our little native Australian stingless bees are tiny little pocket rockets. They watch from the little hole in the box, then spring out as quick as they can and head off into the flower field. What an awesome way to spend a Sunday morning ❤️

Happy Saturday folks. In the farm stand today you will find fresh flower bouquets $10 each, fresh honey, fresh scones, mixed tomatoes, mixed tomatoes & cucmelons, dill pickles and our delicious strawberries.

Here on the farm we grow organically without the use of chemicals or pesticides. We have our own worm farms to create the beautifully rich castings to add to our garden beds, we compost to create our own organic plant food, I even make my own seaweed tea for our plants to grow.

To locate us 1556 Princes Highway Bimbimbie turn in at the pet boarding kennels on the highway. Please limit your speed to 10klms on our private road. Cheers Theresa 🥰

While I’ve been busy this past week one of our local florists came and purchased my flowers to enter them into the agricultural Eurobodalla Agricultural Show. She won first prize with her display featuring one of my lillies. 🎉 Congratulations Linda ❤️

Serendipity Cottage Farm Stay is now open for bookings through Airbnb. This beautiful little 2 bedroom cottage located on our micro strawberry and flower farm is the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. Located just 5 minutes from Mogo Village and 7klms from the pristine beaches of Broulee and Mossy Point. Positioned right near our flower field where you can enjoy the view across our summer loving blooms.

Today in the farm stand you will also find our own cross bred “yellow” cherry tomatoes, jam drop biscuits, eggs, strawberries and our popular refridgerator pickles. Our dahlias are finally growing on taller stems which we hope you enjoy in our mixed bouquets. Single stem gladiolus and lillies are also out in the stand today. Have an awesome day ❤️

Today to add a bit of fun to the farm stand I have placed some cut flowers into containers and provided you with a glass to make your own bouquet jars. $10 each and you get to choose what you pop in your glass. I’ve also provided a jug of water so that you can pop some water into your glass to get them home in your cars cup holder.

This morning before this next day of extreme heat begins I’ve been picking some flowers for tomorrows bouquets. I left out little stingless native bees and honey bees to enjoy the pollen on this dahlia and the little drops of water. Bring on some cooler weather. If you grow dahlias they are really suffering from heat stress at the moment so make sure you are getting water onto the root ball area until the rain arrives.

So far this season we have picked and packed just over 140kg of strawberries. On the farm we grow 7 different varieties of strawberries to make up our mixed punnets. Tomorrow with the heat please remember to close the esky lid firmly to keep the strawberries cold.
