Five Bob Farm Located in Birchs Bay, along side the beautiful D'Entrecasteaux Channel, 35 mins from Hobart. This picturesque 300 acres of farm land is open to explore.

With walking tracks, kitchen garden, orchard, vineyard and a venue there is something for everyone! Five Bob Farm is a destination for all to enjoy. The property ‘Five Bob Farm’, at Birchs Bay, supports an eclectic business mix. Comprising of a range of activities and businesses from Diemen Pepper, our native food enterprise, to our beautiful kitchen garden that provides produce for our employees,

volunteers & local restaurants to our vineyard, horticulture set up and our stunning Venue that is available to book for special events, community groups, health & wellbeing and much more. We would like to encourage all our community to use this space. Five Bob Farm is also the home of "Art Farm Birchs Bay" which provides a relaxing and unique walk around a natural gallery and garden via the "sculpture trail". With over 200 acres on the farm, we continue to evolve and look for new ways to engage the community. We are all about bringing people together to enjoy the space we have. The farm is open to the public and we look forward to hosting you.

Our vines have one request this month - keep the air clear of smoke while our grapes finish ripening.

If you live within a few kilometres of a local vineyard (including ours!), we'd really appreciate if you could hold off on burning big piles for just a few weeks. Smoke during this critical ripening period can affect the flavours we've worked all year to develop.

Looking to help with vintage instead? We'll need extra hands for picking soon - drop us a message if you'd like to join in (and get a proper farm workout!)
