Due to the cost of track maintenance and the rising cost of just about everything we have had to put our race entry price up.

Track direction is clockwise.
We will be running 4 rounds,

BBQ dinner at 6 pm but snacks, drinks and coffee will be available from 2pm.

We also have a new bank card facility’s

We would to see as many people as possible come down and show support after many, many weeks of rain outs.

Our track upgrade is currently 80% complete and should be finished in the next fortnight. The remaining 20% won’t affect racing as it’s cosmetic work.

Good Evening ROAR Racers! Please see important Press Release below for important notes about Major Revisions to the ROAR Rule Book. The ROAR Rules have been updated and are active on the site under "Rules".

***PRESS RELEASE - FOR IMMEDIATE DISTRIBUTION***

On September 3rd , the ROAR Board of Directors voted to approve several major revisions to the official rules. Some take effect immediately and others will be phased in over the next year. All are highlighted in yellow in the updated ROAR Rule Book. Here is a summary of the most significant changes:

1) Effective immediately, a new Le Mans Hypercar class has been added using the 4-wheel drive touring car chassis, a ROAR 25.5t motor, and TC tires.

2) Effective immediately, any ROAR-approved 21.5t motor, and any rubber tire that meets dimensional specs, are now legal for use in the GT12 Electric On-Road class.

3) Effective immediately, ROAR approvals for all motors, batteries and bodies will be standardized to a 4-year term. Automatic extensions will no longer be granted. Manufacturers may seek
approval for an additional 4 year term by submitting a current production sample, along with the required fee, for a new ROAR inspection.

4) Effective immediately, ESC programming modules must be removed from the car before it is allowed to race. In addition, ESCs with built-in Bluetooth, WiFi, NFC, Infrared or other means of wireless programming will not be approved for use in fixed-timing classes at ROAR-sanctioned events.

5) Effective immediately, 2-poles or 4-poles will both be legal in 4x4 SCT 550 motors.

6) Effective immediately, the USGT and VTA classes have been removed from the ROAR rules. These classes may still be offered at ROAR-sanctioned events but will be considered Exhibition classes not National Championship classes. If offered, these classes will generally follow the rules established by the organizations that created the classes.

7) Beginning on September 1, 2025 all Spec wind motors (10.5t, 13.5t, 17.5t, 21.5t & 25.5t) are prohibited from applying epoxy coatings or other fillers to the wire winding after the stator is constructed. All motors with such coatings will be removed from the ROAR-approved list on that date.

😎 Beginning on September 1, 2025 the technical specifications for 25.5t motors will be changed to reduce the total length of stator laminations from 19.7 mm to 19.3 mm and the rotor diameter will be increased from 12.3mm to 12.5mm. Manufacturers may begin submitting new motors for
approval based on these revised specifications beginning May 1st of 2025; however, the new 25.5t motors may not be used in ROAR-sanctioned race events until September 1 st of 2025.

9) Beginning on September 1, 2025 the global minimum motor resistance requirements will be deleted from the rules. Thereafter, the minimum resistance of each motor model will be determined based on the lowest measured value by the inspectors when the motor is submitted for ROAR approval. That minimum resistance value allowed for each motor model will be
published on the approval list and will be used to govern tech inspection at future ROAR- sanctioned events.

10) Beginning on September 1, 2025 only two rotors will be approved for each unique model number in the Spec wind motor classes (one OEM rotor and one option rotor). The authorized rotors will be identified within the ROAR-approved listing for each motor model. Manufacturers must identify the authorized Option Rotor for all previously approved Spec wind motors.
