10 years making wedding videos I know when it hits with ease and flow. Not to say you have to elope but just saying you should enjoy your wedding day, to the absolute highest version of your joy that you can. Bringing in the big lessons from the past 10 years and 500 weddings into our new venture

SEASON UPDATE ❄️

As winter draws closer and things begin to slow down on the wedding front things will start heating up on the editing front for us. 🔥

We are getting close to filming our last few weddings for the 22/23 season. From this point on we will be turning our full attention to editing and delivering wedding videos and USBs to all the incredibly kind folk who have invited us to document their special day this past year.

Our goal is to start completely fresh in September without compromising any quality💥 Each project is lovingly attended to and given the time it needs to become the best video we can possibly make for its audience of 2 🫶🏽 we are endlessly striving to do business and life better.

Hey👋🏼 meet Pete - he’s our other Lead Shooter at CloudHerd along with Taku -
Pete makes a great third wheel at your wedding!
Pete’s been heading up weddings for us for more than a year and every time I see his footage I’m blown away by his intuitive natural way of capturing the way scenes unfold.
He’s the real deal, an experienced cinematographer who holds his masters of cinematography from AFTRS - He’s a pro and it shows but potentially more importantly than that Pete brings a kind, relaxed and calming presence to each wedding day.
When we look at training someone to film weddings with us we look for talent behind a camera of course but also we value people who can handle stress, who can adapt and keep calm in unexpected moments, who are alert and tuned in, who don’t miss a beat! We want everyone to experience the wedding of their dreams and then remember it all with their film. We are stoked to have Pete on our team!

10 years of us ♥️
There have been many times in the past decade that we thought we weren’t ‘right’ for each other - we are the absolute cliche of opposites attracting and if anyone knows us you know our relationship has never been a walk in the park.
We’ve worked on us, deeply, often, always. Relationships show you where you need to grow and they come into your life when you are ready to be raised up to your next level of consciousness.
It’s so much more than happily ever after. It’s a collision, it’s deciding on each other, it’s doing your own work, it’s holding space, accepting another person fully, it’s having a bigger picture view, it’s laughing and forgiving, it’s learning.
We are world away from where we were, and there’s probably many galaxies still to travel.

What is love?
On our wedding day we asked each of our guests to rsvp with an answer to the question ‘what does love mean to you?’. It brought everyone together in a reading at our ceremony and also everyone who spoke that day sort spoke around this theme - it also made for an awesome backbone of our wedding video (hot tip - have a theme) and in our vows we shared our own answers … here was some words from my wedding vows for Taku …

“To me love is so many things and a lot of them started when I met you and they started with this space between us that happens when we catch each other’s eye across a room and can’t stop smiling...that’s my absolute favourite place to be, it’s a place that goes straight to my soul and that to me is love.
But that’s not the even half of it because the most beautiful part is that our love is bigger than us, this love we made, its already created so much more love, in our children, in our home, in our community, it’s infinite, connected, it’s everywhere around us and for me it started right here with you…”

♥️ happy day of love. I hope you all love yourselves as much as you love your partner, your children, your family, friends, your pets. As within so without.

Our soul home. I’m sunset obsessed and this one from travels last year was outstanding!
SO excited to head to north next week for a creative content shoot for 🫶🏽
We’ve spent the last week deep in logistics and beautiful lush product immersion. The studio never smelt so good!Very much looking forward to being on set with an awesome crew of creatives. One day we will live by the ocean and stay on the beach till sunset and wait for all the pretty colours

Hey! It’s us, captured by our super talented friend 🫶🏽
If you haven’t met us before hello! We are Jem and Taku, we make wedding videos (and other creative videos over at ) and we also have made a few cute kids along the way. We have a sweet d***y dog Chief (pictured here sniffing the ground). We love to travel and be out in natures’ wild places, our creative ethos is to make work that tells important stories of real people. We run our production company from our home in the Blue Mountains. We’ve been doing this for almost 8 years! We have a small passionate team involved too who are all really talented creatives. ✌🏼 x

This year I want to dance more with my mum! Tonight she was singing in the kitchen with my sisters as they recorded a video for our other sister who is Berlin based. I was sitting talking to my Granny Annie and the children and family were merrily about. You can’t explain that feeling with words, it can only be completely taken in, in the moment, in the now.
