“Cleaner than clean 🧼 it’s sparkling!”

After watching the video I pulled apart the entire Airbnb and cleaned it like I never have before 😅

No harsh chemical smells here!
I Promise we clean it top to bottom.

This is not the norm in our region!

A rarity with no one in the Airbnb for one day meant I could get stuck into the cottage gardens. A trim of the hedge, removal of weeds, cleaning the bricks and some black mulch and it’s come back to life 🪄✨

Ready for the next guests checking in and MATER filming their next caravan giveaway here at the farm !

As daylight fades on the Great Divide,
A soft pink glow begins to glide,
Across the ridges, rolling wide,
Where eucalyptus shadows hide.

The sun dips low, a fiery ball,
And paints the peaks in a gentle thrall—
A canvas rich with hues so deep,
It stirs the heart, and wakes the sheep.

The valleys stretch, so vast, so still,
Beneath the sky, the air is chill,
Yet every breeze that whispers through
Sings of the land, both old and true.

From the mountains tall to the plains below,
The pinks and purples gently glow,
And in that moment, hearts are swayed,
By the beauty of Queensland’s serenade.

As dusk settles on the sprawling land,
The Great Dividing Range, like nature’s hand,
Cups the fading light with grace—
A pink-lit kiss on this wide open space.

It’s been a whirlwind week on the farm! ✨ January is fully booked and we’ve had guests coming and going. 🤩

We’ve been busy adding new antique treasures to the cottage and giving some rooms a fresh new look.

Picked elderberries for homemade tea 🍃 and fed the olive trees with a new organic boost.

We’ve been blessed with beautiful rain and summer storms, making everything feel even more magical.

And, we were thrilled to welcome guests all the way from Philly, USA! 🇺🇸

✨ Special Moments at Olive View Estate ✨

There’s something magical about days like today... The weather is perfect, with cool breezes flowing through the farm, and nature is alive in every corner. The kangaroos are lounging peacefully under our olive trees, while the cows graze happily on the lush, green grass—thanks to all the much-needed rain we’ve had. 🌧️🐄🌿

And of course, our trusty old 50s tractor, Spud, is working hard as always, getting the job done with that timeless reliability. 🚜💪

These are the moments that make farm life so special—where every day is a gift. Grateful for the peace, the beauty, and the hard work that keeps everything moving forward. 🌾🍃
