Throwing it back to Nov 2021 with the wonderfully talented Laura and the Malvern crew. Just over two years ago we started taking baby steps back into the studios and normal life or the ‘new normal’ as it was called. Blink, and we are still jumping for joy to be dancing together.

It’s time to ‘put your hands up’ and book your spot in our amazing October pop-up. Over four weeks you will learn a Beyoncé inspired routine, choreographed by the wonderfully talented Courtney. The routine is so fun and the moves are awesome.

This pop-up is designed for all levels. Each step will be broken down, repeated and explained by your instructor. Learning routines is a great way to enhance your dance and memory skills.

We warmly welcome Antonio as a cover instructor to the Dance Dynamics family. Antonio will be covering Cassidys classes in Ballet, Contemporary and Jazz at Box Hill on Tuesday evenings while she enjoys a long awaited family trip. Meet inspiring member Helga.

‘I re-started my fitness journey over three and a half years ago, by joining Dance Dynamics. After suffering multiple ongoing health problems for a number of years, it helped me get my health back on track.

I started out with beautiful Rita in Mature Movers, which was the perfect way to learn all the different styles of dance, at a pace that my body at the time, could cope with. From Mature Movers I gained confidence and greater fitness and decided to challenge myself by participating in Barre Classes, and faster Latin Rhythms and Dance Tone classes.

I love the variety of classes Dance Dynamics offers, which help not only with cardio, but strength and toning. Dance became a part of my daily life for some time, often doing two classes in one day. In short, I became addicted to the dance vibe.

I still live with all my health problems but today I live healthier, happier and fitter. This has helped me improve my quality of life. Dance is uplifting and so rewarding in every way for both mental and physical health. There is nothing quite like pumping it out to J-Lo and Lizzo beats on the dance floor with my amazing instructor and fellow members.

I love Dance Dynamics and I love dancing with like-minded people and having a bit of fun. It’s a place you can let your hair down, be yourself and get into the vibe.’

Gorgeous member Shirley, surprised instructor Rita in Mature Movers this week. Rita played a song from Sister Act and Shirley suddenly jumped out as Sister Shirley. Rita says she was completely shocked and hasn’t been able to stop smiling. The question is, will this become a regular habit? 🤣

May pop-up announcement.

In May it will be all about jazz, as we learn a routine to, All that Jazz, from the musical Chicago.

Broadway lovers, this one is for you.

Over four weeks in studio, (or three classes online,) you will master a dance routine to the song - All that Jazz.

Each week your instructor will refresh the previous week of choreography, and add on, until you have completed the entire dance.

Our pop-up classes are designed for all levels of experience, including the complete beginner. Pop-ups are a great way to try out a new style of dance.

Bookings are now open, through the Dance Dynamics app. Ideally book all four weeks.

You can also complete the course through our on-demand library. This is a great way to practice the routine at home. See the link in our bio to sign up.

“I joined Dance Dynamics about two years ago, after the birth of my two boys.
 
Dance has always been a passion of mine. I started dancing in junior ballet and fell in love with dance. I continued my dance journey, branching off into Zumba and adult ballet classes. When I dance, I feel that I can be myself and just dance my heart out.
 
I am so happy that I found Dance Dynamics. It is very challenging to be a mother of two young boys, and my busy schedule made me feel like I simply didn’t have the time for myself. Dance Dynamics offers so many classes during the week, that it allows me the flexibility to attend classes that can fit around my schedule.
 
I enjoy the positive vibe in DD classes. Everybody is so warm and welcoming. There is no pressure as we are all here to have fun and enjoy ourselves. I also hope I can inspire and motivate other women to join in, and improve their confidence.
 
Since I joined DD, I feel myself getting stronger and fitter every day. Going to DD classes also makes me feel more energised to get through the rest of the day.”
