Brooklyn wanted her fairy tale wedding and I do believe she got it! Not a single detail was left out, from a ceremony that expressed every thought and feeling of love between B&B and a 12 page mini Newspaper of activities for the guests right down to supplying blankets at the reception for when it got a little nippy! I was also very privileged to MC this grand affair!

What an unforgettable wedding! I first met Julie and Jake over a year ago, before their beautiful boy Sylvester was even born, and their journey to the big day was effortless. The celebration was absolutely perfect, with the rain holding off just for them!

These two lovebirds met through their passion for motorbikes, and their love story is as adventurous as it is heartwarming. I was honored to MC their wedding, (and be chief flower holder during the photo session!) and let me tell you, everyone had an absolute BLAST! Meet one of the most relaxed couples I've ever encountered! When this stunning bride made her entrance, emotions overflowed with a perfect blend of tears and giggles. It was such a beautiful moment that had us all laughing and crying along with her. 🩷

Chloe and Jesse exchanged their 'vows' and 'I do's' under a handmade arbour during a charming, intimate, late afternoon midweek ceremony at their home. Surrounded by close family and friends, it was the ideal mix of love and laughter. Chloe's bouquet was especially sweet, with flowers grown in her grandmother's garden.

What do you get when you mix some Filipino traditions with a love of gaming - in particular 'Halo'. Well, you get a ceremony that is very unique that's what!

When I first met Fiona & Mick, I wasn't quite sure how we would pull this off but we did!

Remember a ceremony should reflect you as a couple, there is no right or wrong way to do things as long as the legal criteria is met then it's 'game on' literally!

Fiona & Micks ceremony certainly reflected who they are as a couple and there was no shortage of all the emotions, including swords and shots!

💍 Sometimes, the most important thing for couples is simply to get married. That’s exactly what Ned & Rose wanted: a no-fuss, easy-peasy, legals-only ceremony! No bells and whistles needed.

But guess what? Rose was pleasantly surprised when I still brought emotion and love to their special moment. I mean, how could I not? 🥰

With a few close family and friends, it turned out to be the perfect afternoon at the picturesque Gladstone Marina. 🌅✨

🌟 What an incredible past month it’s been! As I catch up, let’s dive into a topic that’s not often fun but oh-so-important: pricing! 💰💍

Talking money can be awkward, but I believe in total transparency with my couples. Pricing isn’t one-size-fits-all, and I’m here to be flexible and fair.

Did you know? A recent Australian survey by The Celebrant Institute revealed celebrant fees range from $350 to a whopping $5000! The average sits between $850 and $1200. Getting married at the Brisbane Courthouse Registry costs:

$384.10 (Mon-Fri)
$499.40 (Saturday)
$658.50 (Saturday evenings)

Firstly, what on earth are you getting for $5000? I’ll keep you posted! 😅 Secondly, here in Central Queensland, most of us aren’t charging over $1000. We’re all pretty similar in price, and we all meet the same legal criteria. At the end of the day, the result is the same: you get legally married! 👰🤵

However, the vibe each celebrant brings is unique. Choose someone who makes you comfortable, tells your story beautifully, and adds that emotional or entertaining touch. Or if you’re just after the legal stuff, many of us are even cheaper than the courthouse!

Remember, the ceremony might be the shortest part of your day, but it’s the most important. There’s a lot of work behind the scenes to make your day perfect. And lucky for CQ couples, we have some of the best celebrants right here, and most of us travel too!

After three wonderful years as a celebrant without a price hike, I’ll be adjusting my prices for all 2026 bookings. Thanks for your understanding and continued support! 🌟💕

It’s the perfect day to share a photo of my own mother with her bridesmaid on her wedding day circa 1963, when dresses were big and could be hired, pregnancies were hidden 🤦‍♀️ all marriage ceremonies were in churches and there was no such thing as a Marriage Celebrant!!

I only had my mother for 17years but there is not a day that goes by that I don’t miss her 💗 💗

After days and days of rain the heavens held off just enough for Terri-Ann & Tommy to exchange their vows at the picturesque Spinnaker Park in Gladstone Marina. Surrounded by about 100 of their nearest and dearest this couple exuded a love so strong and a life that has overcome insurmountable hurdles! No rain was going to stop this day no matter what! (but please excuse the celebrant's not so flattering hair do 🤣😵definitely blaming the weather!)

Also, as a celebrant in my local area, it's always a joy to reconnect with many friends I haven't seen for a while. This group was especially delightful to see, as it included many long-lost faces!

Well, I danced and sang my heart out at P!NK, travelled to Vanuatu where I swam, snorkelled, slept, drank more cocktails 🍹than I should have, ate too much over priced food, went to some extremely dodgy places, went to some amazing places, met some wonderful beautiful people, and wait for it....read, not 1, not 2, but 3 books! 📚📖

I'm now back with a rejuvenated sense of excitement for the year ahead and ready for today's special 'Leap Year' wedding ceremony for Kiah & Darren! 💛

🌴📆 Out of Office Shenanigans 📆🌴

Hey fabulous friends and clients! 👋✨ Just a quick heads up - I'm officially unplugging for the next 12 days, and by unplugging, I mean I'm diving headfirst into a cocktail-fueled abyss with zero internet access! 🍹🏝️

Now, I know you're all in the throes of post-Valentine's euphoria, possibly planning to tie the knot and dreaming of having yours truly as the celebrant extraordinaire! 💍🎉 Fear not, lovebirds, your celebrant is taking just a brief hiatus from the matrimonial madness and will be back before you know it!

First stop on the break bonanza? I'm kickstarting it with some serious dance moves at the PINK concert – because nothing says "vacation mode" like boogieing your heart out! 💃🕺

Then, the next day, the hubby and I are jetting off to Vanuatu for a week of sun-soaked cocktails, questionable attempts at swimming, and a somewhat vague commitment to finally cracking open a book after six long bookless years. 📚😅

So, while I'm sipping on something tropical and working on my sun-kissed glow, please bear with me if I'm slow to respond. I promise, when I return, I'll be refreshed, rejuvenated, and ready to help you plan the celebration of a lifetime! 💖🌟

What a beautiful weekday wedding this was in one of our most picturesque and serene locations in Central Queensland!

This date held a special significance for Gemma & Leigh as it marked the 4 year anniversary of when their love story truly began! 💛

Leigh, who had sworn off relationships for five years, was instantly drawn to Gemma's beauty and charm, and Gemma, fresh from a breakup and hesitant to dive into a new romance, wasn't entirely convinced Leigh was her type. But oh, how love works its wonders! In just 10 days, Leigh's charm and genuine connection melted away any doubts, and they officially started dating on this very day, four years ago.

Their ceremony was simply perfect, surrounded by their nearest and dearest with all the feels and emotions. However, there was no bigger emotion when Leigh, during the exchanging of rings surprised Gemma with a gorgeous gold and diamond ring which Gemma wasn't expecting!
