We are closing down
We wanted to inform you that our time operating Crazy Town Parties - (the party hire business) is coming to an end. We have closed our booking calendar as of the 21st of July and will cease to take any new bookings after this date.
Everything is for sale
Over the coming weeks every hire item on our website will be made available for purchase at rates well below the cost of importing the items. We have approximately 70 inflatable items to sell (obstacle courses, jumping castles, water slides, sports themed inflatables and more) along with sumo wrestling suits, dunking machines, photo pods, foam machines, delivery vans, trailers, generators and a huge number of accessories. All of this equipment is in great working order with many items only 1 or 2 years old. The products will be sold on a first come, first serve basis. We wanted to offer our loyal customers the first chance to buy these items. If you think you will have an interest in any of the great products that you have hired in the past, or that you find on our website, send us a private message and we can email you a price list.
We will retain the website and brand name as we will continue to sell party products through our current channels. So we are selling the hire equipment only.
Why are we selling?
The few months within minimal bookings due to COVID-19 has given us plenty of time to reflect, think about our future, and begin to work on new projects. Things are slowly starting to improve in our industry with COVID-19 restrictions starting to lift, and while we are aware that there will be huge opportunities for those businesses still operating in a post COVID environment, we are happy to hand the reigns over to someone else, as we take on new challenges. After 11 crazy years, supplying some of the best and most unique party products to South East QLD, John and I have decided it is time for a new chapter in our lives. It has been an amazing ride with some incredible experiences along the way and while the last few months have been very difficult we know we will look back with fond memories. If anyone is interested in starting a business similar to what we created we would be happy to offer guidance and advice. It is tough, physical work, but the experiences (musical festivals, large events, awesome products, and fun customers) make it a worthwhile adventure.
A brief history of Crazy Town Parties
We built this business from scratch, starting with 1 set of sumo suits, as a side hustle, and rapidly growing it to a full time gig, with 2 warehouses, a fleet of delivery vans and trailers, 3 full time employees, and 6 casuals. We helped to pioneer fun inflatable hire that adults and teenagers could enjoy as much as the children (because why should kids have all the fun). We custom designed many products to ensure they were unique, fun for all ages, strong enough for adults and visually impressive. Some of the items in our range are not available with any other inflatable company in Australia or the world.
Buying products
As mentioned above we will gradually be changing our website from hire pages to sales pages. We expect that some of our most popular items will sell quickly, so if you want us to reserve something for you the sooner you can let us know the better. This could be your only chance to buy these products as we are the only company that holds them.

We couldn't finish up without saying thanks. We know this will come as a shock to many of you that have been with us for a long time. To all of our loyal customers, thank you so much for your support over the years. A large number of you have consistently hired from us for almost a decade and we are so thankful for the support and friendships we have developed along the way. Also to the many friends and family who chipped in with deliveries and cleaning work on busy weekends, to ensure we never let customers down when it seemed like we may have over committed ourselves, you got us through some difficult days, and we will be forever grateful.
