The Briagolong Hall Committee is having a community fun night on Friday 29th of November as the final celebration of the Halls 150th year.
We will be having a colouring competition on the night with a few prizes for the winners! Please feel free to print the picture and return to the Post office or Community House otherwise you can pick up a copy from the above places!

The Briagolong Lions Club will be hosting a free BBQ, Sunday the 24th of November. This will be their final farewell before they officially close the club in Briagolong after 44 years of service to the community..
Congratulations to all members past and present for all the amazing work you have done.

As part of This Girl Can Week Victoria and ‘Gippy Girls Can,’ we’re thrilled to present the Women’s Adventure Film Tour! This screening celebrates the incredible adventures of women, inspiring all girls and women to embrace physical activity in their own way.

Get ready for an adrenaline-packed showcase of courage and triumph that will ignite your spirit! Suitable for all ages, this event is perfect for the whole family.

Presented by Central Gippsland Health, this initiative aims to support women and girls in increasing physical activity through inspiration and opportunity. Local clubs and fitness groups are encouraged to join us and promote beginner and ‘come try’ opportunities. Plus, don’t miss out on the chance to win some door prizes! 🎉

STARTS TOMORROW - so Excited!!

The Stay Safe, Stay Active Senior Fall Prevention Program begins this Wednesday 23rd October.

Time: 10:30am to 11:30am.

Venue: The Supper Room at the Briagolong Mechanics Hall.

Program length: Each Wednesday for 8-weeks (Last session 11th December).

Cost: This Wednesday 23rd October is FREE. All other sessions are an investment of $10 per participant.

FAQ's

Q: Who is this program for?
A: Anyone 65+ yrs AND anyone living with a chronic condition wishing to enhance their quality of life and independence.

Q: Do I need to be a resident of Briagolong to attend?
A: No. We welcome participants from surrounding communities.

Q: I can not commit to the 8-weeks but can I still attend when I can?
A: ABSOLUTELY. Although it would be greatly beneficial to attend each week you may attend as little or as much as you like.

Q: Do I need to book?
A: No. Just turn up on the day it's that easy.
