Well it’s been 20 years exactly since I talked my fellow Apex members into starting a NYE Carnival in Brennan Park. Our president at the time said it would never work because all the locals went away for NYE. I replied with “build it and they will come”. 🤣 and they did and community service clubs have kept it going for over 15 years Unfortunately it got too much hard work for the same people. I’ve restarted it up again folks and if you want to see it keep going I’d like to see some fresh volunteers put their hand up to join our Rotary club to see this great event continue for years to come. It’s a privately fundraised event that has seen a handful of local businesses donate to the fund. I’ll list our sponsors in alphabetical order first you so you can see what they have generously donated.
