There is so much good music these days! Kathy and her band have moved more into original material lately and they are quality songs and arrangements. Don’t miss them.
Sienna is writing and singing some heartbreakingly beautiful material. Being a Broken Hill boy I love that she is Pro Hart’s grand-daughter. Art runs in her veins.

Last night was the opening of our SALA exhibition! With good music, speeches, food and wine we started off the display of amazing work from some fantastic artists.

Last night we were treated to the wonderful vocals of Steve Lennox and Jen Lush. There was an atmosphere of calm and gentle vibes as Steve and Jen talked us through their songs and how they came to be, with a mix of old favourites, debut songs and even a splash of comedy the night was one those in attendance are sure to remember.

I'm hearing from musicians and promoters that it's currently hard around Australia, thanks to Covid, to sell tickets to musical acts, despite an amazing choice and quality of acts. In addition people are often not pre-booking their tickets, which means that musicians are often uncertain whether they are going to break even or not until the evening actually begins. This is a huge strain on artists and those who support and promote them, for they cannot continue in their profession without the sale of concert tickets.
From in WA: "So if you see an artist you love playing this weekend PLEASE show them some support and buy your ticket in advance if you can! Look at it as a small investment into the live music industry because it’s pretty grim to imagine a world without it."
At Bridgewater Arts Centre we have a superb act coming up on August 6th - Welsh born, Australian singer/harpist Siobhan Owen who in pre-Covid days regularly performed at festivals, concerts around Australia and internationally. She is classically trained, has superb vocal control and favours Celtic/folk songs with occasional pop and jazz songs.
Please support Siobhan and the Bridgewater Arts Centre by joining us Aug 6th. She is truly a skilled and gifted artist and I guarantee that you find her a delightfully impressive artist.
