Triumph through adversity.

I've hosted and attended a lot of events at Can You Keep A Secret over the years and that was up there with the best of them.

Thank you all for your support and understanding of our venue change. Those who attended made the absolute best of it and at times it looked like the whole venue was dancing. You never fail to amaze with your enthusiasm for our night, seeing you all happy, dancing and singing is just brilliant.

Thank you to our hosts Mel, Tilly and Mick for working hard at bar and clearing up after us and thanks to EJ for finding a solution for us with the alternate venue.

Final thanks to my colleagues Matt and Scott for playing some top drawer sounds and for the non-stop banter and laughs throughout the evening.

Urgent announcement

Due to circumstances beyond our control we have had to change venues for this Saturday nights Subculture event.

Please note and pass onto anyone you know that Subculture will now be held at “Can You Keep A Secret” 619 Stanley Street Woolloongabba.

We humbly apologise for the short notice on this change as we have only just found out ourselves and were left with the choice to either cancel or move location, we feel that this is the best solution for all.

Please send us a private message if you have any questions or concerns.

Hey all

We have made the decision to offer a refund to anyone who does not want to attend Subculture due to the venue change. We believe we have found the best solution to keep the night on, but we understand this may not fit with all attendees plans or expectations.

If you would like a refund, please send the page a private message with the booking name and your bank details or PayPal address and we’ll take care of the refund over the next two to three days. Do not post any details in the message thread in the event or Subculture page.

Apologies for any inconvenience and look forward to seeing you on Saturday night.

Honoured to be providing pre-gig support to the Sunny Coast Rude Boys and Fat Picnic at the Triffid Saturday 22nd February with my double decking buddy Matt Ward.
