have been busy working the DJ circuit too with gigs at Panorama Bar, HÖR, A.D.E. and Watergate, as well as regular gigs in their hometown, London. Their label parties have all sold out, with the most recent one taking place at the Pickle Factory in collaboration with Origins.

The impressive duo have delighted crowds at festivals like Love International, Kala festival and Madruga
and if all of that wasn’t enough, Kassian have also landed a weekly residency at the legendary
London community radio Rinse FM!

Artist Spotlight ~ Kassian

Since starting their project in 2019 Kassian have been gathering more and more momentum, re-
leasing records on Heist, Phonica Records and Shall Not Fade and evolving their sound from
groove-laden House towards more leftfield threads of Techno and UK Bass.

Their own imprint - Faux Poly
- launched early in 2022 and hosts three of their own releases all receiving major sup-
port by from the likes of Ben UFO, Four Tet, Floating Points, Daphni, Tom Ravenscroft (BBC R6),
Emerald (Rinse), Mary Anne Hobbs (BBC R6), George Fitzgerlad, DJ Seinfeld and more.

This year Kassian released their EP ‘Phase Two’ with the esteemed !K7 Records and are cooking up another
two EPs - one for !K7 and another for Faux Poly.

Now .fm residents and making regular stops on the international circuit, we team up with kiwi pals to host for their first show in Brisbane at the legendary

Dose Sessions #001 is now live!

In this space we plan to showcase the best in underground music, with no limitations. Each mix we will be inviting a new Doser to provide a fresh and exciting mix of their favourite tracks, no matter the genre, rhythm or style. From old gems to new and unreleased tracks and everything in between. We hope you’ll enjoy this experiment as much as we will.

First up is with a curation of old and new Garage and Breakbeat tunes, playing with old school vocals, familiar samples and a tough but wobbly rhythm. Designed not to be taken too seriously, but also very seriously. Enjoy!

With the unfortunate cancellation of our favourite festival Rabbits eat lettuce, we are excited to present our first event for the year with an escape into the woods for one night of Dose Magic. Expect the usual visual feast of projections, lighting and lasers, with a naughty selection of rave sets from our Resident DJs and some friends. Due to limitations on space, this is an invite only event for friends of the Dose Collective, with registrations open via our email [email protected]

Please email your name, number and your favourite thing about raving to be added to the list. Location info will be sent 24 hours prior to the event.

Please familiarise yourself with the burning man principles as these are the expectations we expect everyone in attendance to uphold.

🎅 It’s been a hot minute since we’ve seen you all getting weird on a dance floor, and we just wanted to wish you a Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year!! The message of Dub & Reggae music has taken many forms. Of protest, of spirit and of one love. It is music that brings people together, unites us and speaks for us. Drawing from influences all over the world, its message is carried through many styles, tempos and rhythms. Marco’s intention for Organica is to curate a unique set that expands from its traditional Jamaican roots, through to its influence across the pacific to his homeland New Zealand, with various modern twists and takes along the way. Come skank with me as we give love to the rhythm.

Introducing one of our opening acts, .dj !

Miko is a DJ currently living and sharing music in Meanjin. Her goal is to create liberated dancefloors, one where everybody's hearts are singing and feet are grooving! No matter the genre Miko will find her own authentic take, bringing those beats and vibrant energy to each set.

Miko has been a part of the bethecascade crew and absolutely killed it at their recent party Moonrave. This will be her first time performing with the Dose crew and we are very excited to see what she has in store for us!

✨🥳 We were recently made aware that the coming weekend is exactly one year after our debut event, Event Horizon. Serendipity at its finest!!!

What a year it’s been. Dose Collective has grown beyond anything we expected and we can’t thank everyone enough for being part of this community. The support we’ve seen over the past twelve months has truely been outstanding!

So come celebrate our first birthday with us! Organica will be an opportunity to jam out with the Dose family and reminisce on some of the epic parties we’ve shared together over the past year. Much love xx.
