Qualifications & experience
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
- 3+ years' experience in a high end restaurant, catering business or 5 star hotel.
- Drivers license (preferred but not mandatory).
- Driven to perform at the highest level.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Time management, communication & planning skills.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Work closely with the Head Chef to deliver a consistently exceptional dining experience.
- Prepare menu items as per recipes, kitchen standards and food safety requirements.
- Work in the production kitchen as well as at offsite events and venues.
- Oversee the production kitchen's requirements & the ex*****on of offsite events under the guidance of the Head Chef.
- Maintain company software for food safety, purchasing, costings, recipes, reporting and production logs.
- Train kitchen staff to company standards.
