Meet Ally and Todd, who said โ€œI doโ€ this past Saturday at the absolutely breathtaking Kwila Lodge, tucked away in the Gold Coastโ€™s lush hinterlands in such perfect seclusion it couldโ€™ve been anywhere in the world.

A few years back, when these two souls found each other, Todd didnโ€™t just fall in love with Ally โ€“ he opened his heart wide enough to embrace her three daughters as his own. And together, they welcomed their little 4-year-old princess into the world.

This luxury hinterland venue delivered pure magic with its intimate opulence, impeccable catering that had everyone talking, and Instagram-worthy corners that created memories to last a lifetime.

Content creation is changing our industry, and honestly? Thereโ€™s absolutely a place for it!

CCโ€™s rocking up with full-frame cameras posting photos that make them look like THE photographer? This does not sit well with me. Thereโ€™s only ONE photographer hired.

CCs filming on full-frame offering speeches and wedding coverage? Honey, thatโ€™s not content creation - thatโ€™s straight-up videography. The audacity is real.

Hereโ€™s my controversial truth: My coupleโ€™s wedding day experience comes FIRST. I design my timelines for maximum chill, minimal chaos.

So letโ€™s do the maths - myself + 2nd + VID + 2nd + CC with phone + camera = paparazzi at this point ๐Ÿ“ธ

When did we become the supporting act at our own gig? We need to work together with clear roles - kindness is key cause this gall and most togs I know are not up for a battle. We just want to create.

So Jack calls me a while back wanting to propose in the forest because Paige is absolutely obsessed with pine trees (and I guess thatโ€™s what drew him to me too! ๐ŸŒฒ). Had to be forestry or nothing - and honestly? It was spectacular!

Fast forward to their Brisbane City Wedding and these lovers had the best of both worlds! Morning city vibes for prep, then off to Bellbird Grove for their forest ceremony (because of course!), then back to The Wickham for what can only be described as the coolest reception EVER.

Iโ€™m talking cake, dancing, Cocktails and Pizza. Pure chaos in the best possible way! Jackโ€™s a muso and his entire band was in the bridal party, so you know the dance floor was absolutely going OFF all night long. They wanted cool and fun, and boy did they deliver! ๐ŸŽต

A short time ago, Asma and Daren said their โ€œI doโ€™sโ€ in the most beautifully quiet way โ€” just the two of them (and me as a very lucky witness) at Magnolia Lakehouse in Maleny.

On their ten year anniversary, they chose to get married โ€” not with a big fuss, but with intention, heart, and a whole lot of love. They started their morning with a sunrise hike at Kondalila Falls, a nod to their shared love of the outdoors, adventure, and keeping each other moving โ€” in every sense.

The lakehouse was still and peaceful, wrapped in golden winter light that melted right down to the waterโ€™s edge. They took a little rowboat out for some quiet time together โ€” just the two of them and the ripples. A scene straight out of a movie. ๐ŸŽฌ

Ten years in, and forever to go.
