Renowned soprano Angela Gheorghiu caused a stir during a performance of Puccini's 'Tosca' in Seoul, halting the orchestra and interrupting her co-star's mid-show encore, much to the dismay of opera enthusiasts who had eagerly anticipated her performance.

We are saddened to report the passing of a fine business leader and loyal supporter of OPERATIF over the years, at the fine age of 95.

We last saw Rod when we performed for his 90th birthday at the Queensland Club, where he sat enjoying all his favourite songs and arias over the course of a full lunchtime concert( while some of the younger members of his family looked on ). Rod was a regular client at our renowned dinner shows at the Hilton and Customs House, where he always bought a full table of 10 and invited different guest and clients. His support was invaluable and greatly-appreciated. We send our condolences to the whole extended family.
