Sip and Bloom is a seasonal flower arranging workshop. Participants learn from a qualified florist, work with seasonal blooms and foliage, craft their own unique arrangement all while having a drink to sip on + some nibbles 🥂

I’m a qualified florist!! 💐

This journey started over a year ago when I was walking with my ex and the question was brought up of “what job do you wish you could do no matter of the pay or experience, something you wish you could start right now” I responded with “be a florist”
I went home that afternoon and researched courses, life’s to short to say “oh I wish” or “I couldn’t do that” a week later I enrolled in a certificate 3 in floristry 💐

This journey has been a wild one, I started with absolutely no knowledge about flowers, names of them, how to look after or even how to construct a simple bouquet. I’ve learnt so much of techniques and knowledge it’s insane. I couldn’t have got through this without my gorgeous tutor Bea or the support from the 8 beautiful girls I ended this course with. I’ve done so many beautiful arrangements where my work has been used for birthdays, gifts, funerals, weddings and engagements… that’s so cool 🥹

✨So what now? ✨
I want to take my floristry business in the Wedding & Event direction & work for myself , I got told multiple times by people that it’s not doable but hey, I’ve already done a wedding and I’m booked for 3 more later in the year… I’m doing pretty good 🤍
Of course I will still be making different arrangements for customers but I can’t wait to do workshops for installations to grow on my skills.

With that being said… my little buisness will be changing, new name & new logo. Thank you for following this journey for the last year, it’s been a wild one 🌻💐✨💜

I’m so incredibly proud of myself, I love everything about this. I’m now finished for good! I get my certificate next week and I’m then a qualified florist!! 💐✨🌈
