Stall holder hint: List of things to check off....
table cloth/ cash kitty/ texta's to change prices/ spare paper/ sticky tape/ ? something to make a shelf at the back of your table to get extra height/ size templates to separate clothes/ water bottle/ snacks (chocolate is my poison) / bum bag for money/ shopping bags to put items in... Anyone else have some good ideas for stall holders????

Stall holder tip: remember to print out your Large Items tags and clothes dividers from the info pack email we sent you. Have your Large Items tags printed up and written out ready to go before taking things over and checking them into large items. Don't cut the tag though..... staff do that for you!

Stall Holder Hint: Bring along a table cloth to dress up your stall. You can use some of the boxes you carted your items in to create a ledge at the back of your table and get some extra height for those things at the back. You can also use washing baskets, so empty out the ironing basket, and give it back after the market!

Stall Holder Hint: do not price things too high! I know it's hard, but you need to remember these items ARE SECOND HAND, and if there is little cost difference between new and used, people will just wait for a store sale and pay the little extra to buy new. These markets are to help recoup a little of the cost, but you cannot expect to get 75-80% of what you paid. Move more items at lower prices and it soon adds up.... plus you don't have to take it home with you!

Stall holder hint: Ensure you organize your kitty/float. Guaranteed there will be someone handing over a red lobster, or a yellow pineapple, just to pay for a $2 item! Make sure you know how much is in your float, so you can calculate your profits at the end.
Also, keep it safe.... use a bum bag, or something you can keep on you. Frees up more room on your table!
