Get ready to take a trip back in time this afternoon with Rob Doorey as we journey to the steps of the Sydney Opera House for the Crowded House “Farewell To The World” Concert on 23 November 1996.

Thankfully, we haven't had to farewell Crowded House forever as they have come together since and are in fact touring Europe in 2022 but we thank them for the amazing Live album we get to hear this afternoon on The Breeze from 5 pm.

This Saturday Rob Doorey takes us back to November 1996. A time when we fare-welled one of the greatest bands ever, Crowded House with their Farewell to The World Concert.

Performed on the steps of the Sydney Opera House to an estimated crowd of up to 250 000 people, join Rob as he takes us back to that moment.

(heads up - Crowded House did a John Farnham on us ... this did not end up being a final farewell.. In fact, they are touring the UK next June)
