從今天2024年6月12日開始，打算領證結婚的準新人們可以透過視像通話 (videocall or videoconferencing) 在 witness 面前簽署Notice of Intended Marriage Form 表格。從此不用再特地出門找 JP, 醫生和律師等witness.
所以，就算身處澳洲境內的新人跟我這位marriage celebrant 不在同一個地區或城市，我仍然可以witness新人的簽名。這對爭取趕快開始和完成一個月冷靜期(cooling off period)的新人們非常關鍵。
這安排在 COVID 期間曾經生效過，到去年12月31日結束。如今終於正式通過議會，正式成為永久的法律程序。🎉🎉🇦🇺

人爲什麼要結婚？
這是我聽到最好的答案。

1、遇事能有個人商量，
無聊了能有個人說說話。
累了一天能在一桌開開心心的喫個飯，
人生太長，總要有個相知相伴的人。

2、你愛對了人才知道，
婚姻是一次很有趣的結伴旅行。
結婚只是一場酒席是熱鬧，
而撐起你整個人生的是相愛。
就是當你覺得，
兩個人在一起比一個人有意思，
就是當你覺得，
你依然會碰到很多問題，
但是你倆能處理得好。

3、婚姻真的不能只靠那些
“委屈、理解、磨合……”
這種聽上去很難受的詞來經營相處，
那樣一天到晚累到趴下的婚姻你要嗎？
所以，請你在年輕的時候認真生活，
認真挑個跟你生活的人，
如果有一天你結婚了，
希望是發自內心的開心，
而不是大鬆一口氣，
覺得完成了一項任務。

4、其實最好的婚姻，
不是你掙錢養家，我負責貌美如花，
而是我們一起努力，
你很好，而我也不差。
能理解你的辛苦，
你也能懂得我的不容易。
而最好的婚姻狀態是；
你滿心都是我，我滿眼都是孩子，
你是我和孩子的天，我和孩子是你的歸宿。

5、在家，廚房有煙火，
在外，有牽掛有問候。
在精神上，有溝通有理解；
在生活中，有依靠有包容。
婚姻不是 1+1=2，而是 0.5+0.5=1.
結婚後兩個人需要各去掉一半的個性，
生活纔會更和諧，
千萬不要總期待完美的對方，
懂的付出和包容纔是婚姻最好的保鮮劑！

6、女人可以自豪的來一句：
看，那是我的男人！
男人也可以驕傲的說：
瞧，不愧是我的女人！
好的婚姻，它不是互相挑剔和嫌棄，
而是兩個人，互相的關心體諒和共同成長。
如果在一段婚姻中，彼此都是冷漠，
根本不關心對方的自尊心，
包括小小的虛榮心，
那這段婚姻是沒有意義的。

First wedding of 2024 - back to the beautiful Valley Estate at the Currumbin Valley and work with the amazing team here again, since my last wedding ceremony and reception in 2023 here 3 days ago.

This is actually my third wedding at the Valley Estate in 10 days too. This beautiful venue is definitely one of the more popular and highly sought after venues in the Southeast Queensland at the moment.

早上中式敬茶儀式完成，我這位茶水部部長工作結束。😆 今早7點半出發，9點敬茶儀式，下午2點婚禮，晚上6點婚宴！下午及晚上變回婚禮及婚宴主持的角色！好長的一天啊 😅😅

Traditional tea ceremony at home in the morning on wedding day. The rabbit decoration on the wall is simply too cute. We helped couples coordinated and hosted Chinese tea ceremony on their big day so they and their families don’t have to stress about it. 😊😊🎊

Place card or name card at wedding reception. 這些是座位名牌，是婚宴中放在每位賓客的座位上的裝飾品。既實用，又可以當成小禮品送給賓客，非常有意義。現在不少的新人在準備名牌上都花了不少心思。也非常感謝我們的客人，儘管Gloria和我不是婚宴席上賓客，但他們也為我們準備了名牌，送給我們做個紀念！😍
