POSTPONED - you may have noticed we were closed last weekend. Unfortunately, due to damage to our facilities, we are unable to go ahead with the event tomorrow night. Given we’ve got a quiet weekend on the dancing front, we thought we’d (re)introduce the evening side of our space.

Open from 5pm - 9pm Wednesday - Saturday, Door84 operates as a lounge bar, comedy club, karaoke bar, poker den, whatever you want it to be!

Our evening bar format is always free entry. With ever-diminishing access to public meeting spaces, the need to retain and provide a space for collective gathering is more important than ever. Situated in the heart of Queen St Mall, our doors are wide open (from 5pm 😂)

Deep listening, weekly catch-ups, various bar related activities are all on the cards. Get in touch if you’ve got something in mind. Otherwise, walk on in!

Wrapping up the month with a huuuge couple nights; new crew .live with the debut. Been looking forward to this one for a hot minute. Capping it all off with another rager from what seems to be the biggest party in town right now: .qld 👻

We thought we’d try something a bit different this month, as we’ve got a lot on!

Here are all our live/experimental & club oriented gigs for August!

There’s a fair bit of variety on offer here, starting with Myriad Sun’s experimental A/V rap show this Friday. We’re gonna get feral for the royal show public holiday with the return of Bicep 💪 💦, which sees some true Door84 OG’s returning to the stage. There’s nowhere else to be that Saturday, as we host the one and only Varg2TM. Don’t think I need to say much there… We’ve also got a Sunday session with courtesy of brisbanes staunchest promoter .at ❤️

BICEP Q***r Club Night - EKKA EVE

Its been a hot minute since we’ve had a q***r ol’ hoedown.

There has been a lot of straight/hetero behaviour in Brisbane City and we must bring balance to this outrageous behaviour.

Calling all freaky members of the LGBTIQA+ community to come as EXTRA as you like on this Tuesday night EKKA EVE special of BICEP.

It goes without saying, but we will say it anyway, this space is for the q***rs by the q***rs and on the night will be run by the q***rs.

Prioritising Trans People and Q***r people of Colour, consensual behaviour, respect.

Loud music + bright moving lights will be used

Gender non-conforming bathrooms.

Felt Sense records wildcard C.R.A.I.G performs his seminal rap album “A Brief History of Bauxite”.

An important piece of music for both the rap and resources sector, join us for a Sunday session of mineral exploration and bars.

We’ve tee’d up a support lineup just as strong: Bris-rap don Piers One , hot off a sold out Brad Strut support.

Also welcoming up and comers from “Together Again Records”: scene favourite Lustre + the iconic 8ill Renegade. .lustre .renegade

Zoiz x Yoby will also be performing their debut rap set; performing songs from cult cypher crew “Team 4059”.

Insanely epic guest DJ’s to round out: electro-dickheads Contort Yourself shake hands with the infamous “Brunswick St Junkies” for his first formal spin!
