Hello Lovers
We pride ourselves on the maintenance and constant improvement of our vintage car Bonnie!
One of Moe's ongoing projects has been sourcing light lens to reinstate her original brake lights which illuminate "STOP".
This is a short video of us testing the wiring and his hard work has paid off as "we are looking good👍"
Meanwhile, I have been editing all our formal images. We are delighted to take part in so many important milestones into adulthood. We have another thrilling week next week ahead too.

Q: What's the most important aspects of choosing wedding cars ?
1. It is vital that you ask your wedding transport company’s credentials. Is the company, vehicles & drivers accredited with Queensland Transport ? Are they either a booked hire entity or a member of the Queensland Limousine Association?
2. Then read their reviews on Facebook.
3. Book your wedding transport at least six (6) months prior to your wedding. Book earlier if you are planning a wedding in either March/April/May or September/October. As these months are the most popular months especially if these are on Saturday.

Q: So who are you ?
If life is a long and sometimes bumpy road, then it’s best to travel in style.
That’s the adage behind Roaring Twenties Vintage Car Hire, run by Samantha Shellard and Moe Akgun.
Partners in life and business, the pair fell in love with a stunning green 1928 Chrysler a few years ago. They named her Bonnie.
“We looked at a lot of nice cars, but they didn’t have that glamorous, gangster feel that Bonnie had,” Moe says.
The couple have always had an appreciation for the glitz and glamour of the 1920s, from The Great Gatsby, through to Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries.
Keeping Bonnie in tip top condition is a full time job for Moe, who is also her chauffeur.
Bonnie’s main business is weddings and school formals, but increasingly, this vintage car is doing lots of Art Deco Tours around Brisbane.
It's a fantastic excuse to see Brisbane Heritage in the lap of luxury and enjoy cocktails afterwards, your chauffeur Moe knows all the best kept secret speakeasy bars around town
“I mean, Bonnie could easily be in a museum, but it’s appropriate that this heritage is accessible. She’s meant to be driven.”
Bonnie is also a great way to arrive in style for a wedding anniversary or birthday celebration. “We do silver, gold and diamond wedding anniversaries,” Samantha says. “That 55-plus age bracket is where you start to celebrate significant milestones.”
