SURPRISE!

At Marney’s birthday party, surrounded by friends and family, there was a delightful surprise in store! As they expressed their gratitude for everyone who came to celebrate, they revealed that there was another reason to celebrate that day. That’s when I was introduced, and the crowd erupted with excitement! And quite a few happy tears as well. It was brilliant.

It was the first time I’d been to and I have to say, it’s a stunning place to get married down on the river. I also got to work with the always fabulous who captured all those amazing moments.

And just to clear the air, I’m definitely not 49! My wonderful husband plays along with my little joke about aging backwards.

Honestly, I’m so happy with the age I am. I feel strong, healthy, and full of rich experiences and knowledge. I really believe I’m getting better at this whole Celebrant thing every year! Plus, I’m always learning, and I think that’s what keeps life exciting.

Kristy and Brendan’s love story is a beautiful reminder that timing is everything! Believe it or not, these two had crossed paths about 8 years ago, but it seems the universe had other ideas for them back then.

Fast forward to a fun dinner at a friend’s place when Lucy had a little epiphany: Kristy + Brendan = Pure Magic! 🎉

With a cheeky text to Kristy—“Hey, how about a no-pressure dinner sometime? Un**es would love to take you out!”—Lucy kicked off her mission to play matchmaker. After a few gentle nudges, Kristy finally passed her number along. Brendan quickly set the stage for their first meet-up at Felons, where a mix of nerves, excitement, and a sprinkle of fate brought them together.

When Kristy walked in, Brendan was completely mesmerised. She looked stunning! And Kristy? She couldn’t help but totally swoon over Brendan’s charming smile, his warm energy, and, let’s face it, those muscles 💪.

What started as a simple drink turned into an incredible 6-hour adventure filled with laughter, stories, and a connection that felt effortless. They just didn't want the night to end!

Then, on the 23rd of November, with a beautiful view over Felons, these two tied the knot in a truly spectacular ceremony. 💕

Shae and Riley’s love story began in the most unexpected of ways—at a party where Shae, normally on the shy side, found herself feeling a little bold (thank you, jelly shots 😉).

And there he was: Rhylie. Mid-dance move. Wearing the infamous roadkill beanie. When their eyes met, his jaw dropped, and she couldn’t help but laugh.

I’m pretty sure his jaw dropped again when Shae walked down the aisle on their wedding day. She looked incredible and thankfully the roadkill beanie was nowhere to be seen.

Talk about excitement. This ceremony had it all.

It’s way too hard to explain it all but it was so much fun. A call for those who speak now or forever hold their peace (all jokes of course), their beautiful sons involved in the ceremony and then a hail storm to knock your socks off.

I'm a Brisbane Wedding Celebrant that will make your ceremony memorable for all the right reasons. My goal is to tell your story at your wedding. What makes you guys - you! Why you laugh together, cry together, your dreams and secrets. What you love most about that person that makes your heart sing and gives you butterflies when you think of them. That is what I will talk about at your ceremony.

Together, we will design a warm, light hearted and fun ceremony to make your wedding memorable to you and all your guests.
