I attended an industry event last week with some fresh-faced interns which gave me all the feels! 🥰

Oh, how I remember the start to my career... when galleries were delivered on USB, inspiration came from hard-copy magazines, and beef & chicken were the only appropriate menu choices.

Fast forward two decades(!) and it's been a joy to see the events landscape continually evolve. And... I still love being part of an industry that marks significant moments in time!

A bride recently asked us how to change her name. So, we thought we’d share some tips:

💒 After your wedding, apply for an Official Marriage Certificate from the Registry of Births, Deaths, and Marriages (the one you receive on your wedding day is only commemorative).

✍🏼 Practice your new signature so you don’t get caught out when it comes to signing your married name.

🚙 Change your Drivers Licence first, as this form of ID will make it easier to update your name everywhere else.

✈️ Don’t forget to ensure the name on your passport and travel bookings match! Replacement passports are free if you have at least 2 years validity remaining.

What’s our favourite part of a wedding? It has to be the emotion 🥹

Take this first frame, when we looked over to see bride Amie clasping her parents hands in a time-stand-still moment at her reception.

Was she due to give her speech with hubby Tim? Yes. Did that matter? Not in the slightest. She was exactly where she was meant to be in that moment.

We will always prioritise times like these over run sheets, because they are what make forever memories. 🤍
