10+ years as full time Celebrants in Brisbane, and from time to time we still get to experience less known about, hidden gems like this one on the Flume Bar rooftop at the Wharves.
We always find it interesting hearing why different couples picked their wedding venue, and what they prioritise when selecting a venue.

We’ve really noticed sentimental significance becoming an increasing priority to couples, often choosing to wed where their early dates or the proposal took place.

This was a great spot for a morning ceremony with Brisbane’s iconic Story Bridge in the backdrop.

AFTER THE WEDDING - A Celebrants perspective.

Once our newlyweds have made their way down the aisle and their celebrations are in full swing, us make our way home smiling to ourselves and glowing with warm and fuzzys.

But our journey with our couples doesn’t end there.
We lodge the paperwork, send the change of last name info then….. fingers crossed, we receive that beautiful feedback in the form of a glowing 5 STAR review - and BOOM all the warm and fuzzies are back!

When it came to planning Chelsea and Euan’s wedding ceremony, we talked about their vision for a ceremony full of love, laughter, and meaningful Scottish traditions.

We talked through ideas to achieve this vision, while ensuring the happy couple and their guests would thoroughly enjoy their ceremony.

Just Married

It was really important for Kellie + Mitch to enjoy every moment and spend time with their family and friends.
So instead of heading off for photos together after the ceremony, they did a ‘first look’ photo shoot and location photos together first with Laura Bradford Photography capturing all the special moments and gorgeous details.
This meant after the ceremony they could stay and enjoy celebrating cocktail hour with their nearest and dearest at Factory 51 and what a great decision that was!

Ice cream in hand as they step in to married life together.🍦
These two decided on a small, stylish and relaxed celebration in the presence of their families.
A simple, happy and authentic morning ceremony was followed by long lunch celebrations. Leaving out some of the traditional formalities like speeches, made their wedding truly ‘them’.
