OPD Time

Every year, we all come together to tackle our online training and assessment, and honestly, it’s the perfect excuse to catch up! We grabbed some coffee (and maybe a few too many fries) while getting the work done.

We ended up having such a fun time refreshing our knowledge of the Marriage Act of 1961 and diving into the material. The highlight? We aced every question! With 54 years of experience, we really have this down to a science!

"Festival of Krista" was bloody brilliant!! A little delayed posting as this little 'event' went on for 2 weeks!! And we had the privilege of being a part of the memory-making and celebrating in style . Party party!! Oh what a fun night.. also a little BMC reunion... pics to come.

Today wraps up my self-declared two-week “Festival of Krista”! 💫

I wasn’t about to let this milestone pass without celebrating with my nearest and dearest. I seized every opportunity to make the most of it—and why not? After all, I did name my business ‘Celebrated Moments’!

It all kicked off with an epic party, followed by outings and dinners in Brisbane City, family celebrations in Hervey Bay, and a camping trip with a bonus day of tubing at Borumba Dam—it’s been an absolute blast! 🎉

Turning 50 is a big deal, and while I love hearing “but you only look 36,” I wouldn’t trade these years for anything. I’ve been blessed with an incredible life, meeting the most amazing and inspiring people along the way. I’ve packed in so much over the years, and I can’t wait to keep the journey going.⠀

16 Glorious Years

Today marks my 16 year anniversary as a Celebrant. That just blows my mind.

What a privilege to have married so many couples and be part of the magic on their wedding day.

I’ve seen a lot over these 16 years and if you’ve ever got time, I’m always up for a reminisce over a G&T - the good and the not so good stuff.

So here’s to today. I hope I get to do this for another 16 years.

The camping trip to 1770 was where the magic began for this adorable couple. They were joined by some friends who may have had a sneaky suspicion about Daniel and Aleisha's future together.

During the trip, they were inseparable; always sitting together at meals, sharing food, and teaming up in board games. It was heartwarming to see how they supported each other, even when they were on opposing teams. By the end of the trip, it was clear that a beautiful romance had blossomed between them. A love story for the ages had begun.

15 years ago today I was privileged (and maybe a little nervous) to stand for the first time, in front of many familiar guests, and marry these gorgeous beings. Beautiful, fun time memories and sooo much love!⁠
