I might not be out there psychically saving lives, having a profession like an ambo or doctor, but I realised what I do on this level of capturing history for families IS important work! So this article was born...giving kids a sense of belonging, visually guiding & reminding them through life.

I was honoured to recently be asked to do a talk for the QLD Camera Group ANNNND my goodness did it open up a can of worms of firstly collating images from a 20 yr + (yes I dye my greys sometimes!!) & going through piles of CDS (& who has a Cd reader these days!?), Harddrives & books I have been published in..

I named the speech EVOLVE, as thats what I have done in my career & also what I do while on each shoot.

But what it really did was define my VALUES in every shoot:

Collaboration. Creativity. Curiosity. FUN.

Meet Winnie the dog and Tamara. Not her dog, but her boyfriend bought her a gift certificate for a fun shoot with Winnie as they are uncannily alike. Matching outfits & all provided a lot of laughs in this fun shoot! (oh & we got some headshots in there between laughs too.. which was mostly the reason for the shoot!)
