Back in the day, Marcus ruled the pool while Ella enjoyed her snacks on the sidelines. Fast forward to 2019, Marcus slid into Ella’s DMs with a friendly “hello,” and received an essay in response! 📲❤️

Marcus found Ella funny, loving, goofy, fit, and chilled—everything he ever wanted. Ella was captivated by Marcus’s stoic yet kind-hearted nature. 💕

Their first date? A mix of nerves and culinary adventure! Ella invited herself over, and Marcus cooked up a storm, from a half-defrosted kebab to mouthwatering gnocchi! 🍢🍝

🌟✨ Mikayla and Hayden’s love story began with a burst of teenage energy and a sprinkle of coincidence in the lively halls of high school. Mikayla being the new girl, was instantly charmed by Hayden’s hometown vibes. ❤️

From the start, Mikayla was head over heels for Hayden, smitten by his laughter and chill vibes. She even joined volleyball just to be near him! 🏐😆

Their class together was the highlight of her day, and on the packed bus ride home, sparks flew. 🎧🥰

Hayden felt fireworks when he first saw Mikayla and couldn’t get enough of her company. He’d always thought she was cute, even if her fringe once gave him second thoughts 😂✂️

Fast forward to post-high school adventures: road trips in Mikayla’s trusty Toyota Yaris, adopting their adorable fur baby Alfie, and endless epic moments filled with laughter and love. 🐶🚗❤️

A moment to never forget was their magical candle-lit proposal which coincided with a funny ring-sizing mishap which ultimately led to Mikayla’s ring finger turning blue. 💍✨

We highly recommend Amber as a celebrant- she was very professional and friendly throughout the whole process. She made it easy to plan the ceremony and was very accommodating with special requests. She led a lovely ceremony and was very considerate with the little things for us to be comfortable, photography angles, and one of my highlights was seeing her wonderful outfit on the day. From Singapore to Canada, and England to Australia, these two globe-trotters were destined to find each other! 🌏❤️

Imagine this: Jay and Tom might have crossed paths on the London Tube without even knowing it! 🚇💫 But fate finally brought them together on Australia Day, just before the world took a detour into the pandemic.

Their first date, just 6 weeks before lockdown, was a memorable game night at a bar. Despite Tom’s competitive spirit, he let Jay win at Connect Four, Uno, and darts (such a gentleman! 😉). Little did he know, he had already hit the jackpot finding someone as amazing as Jay. 🎯💖

✨Jess + Dainis ✨

If you were ever to buy romance novel about Jess and Dainis the book title would read in big sparkly letters “A Story of Mangoes and Chocolate Nachos”.

You see, after a bit of back and forth banter on the ever-trusty bumble app, Dainis had the bright idea that he and Jess should finally meet up. I did neglect to mention though that each of them were at the Falls Festival at Byron Bay.

Initially it was planned that they meet during a Darryl Braithwaite classic “Horses” however, Jess stood Dainis up! No probs, let’s organise another spot, but Jess stood Dainis up yet again. Third time round always works a charm, with this pair finally meeting next to a really big set speakers and well, let’s just say the rest is pretty much history from here ♥️

It was a warm, yet slightly windy August evening at the Brisbane Ekka show grounds. There stood Justin nervously waiting outside an elevator door. When the door finally did slide open there was Colm standing with an excited smile.

Love at first sight really is a thing! Colm knew Justin was his someone even from this very initial moment but also simultaneously thought he might be punching well above his weight.

Congratulations to the most fabulous Mr and Mr Rafferty! Your wedding day was extraordinary and filled to the absolute brim with such beautiful love.

So what do we do?

The absolute best advice I can give is always have a Plan B.

Think about it. You spend all the dollars creating your dream day. We buy fancy clothes, get our hair and makeup done. Gorgeous florals are brought and things get creatively styled. Bear in mind our family and friends take advantage and use this as a great opportunity to dress up in their best gear and celebrate the pair of you. Nobody wants to see any of this effort go to waste or ruined by unsuspecting weather patterns. Hence why Plan B’s are a godsend.

But that’s not to say you can’t have some fun. If you as a couple are ok to get creative a little damp and sing a little whilst in the rain. Go for it!! Because personally I think some of the best pics are caught in the rain.

This brings me so much joy ✨

One of the things I honestly love doing on your wedding day (apart from the obvious marrying part) is seeing you just before the ceremony gets underway. This is usually when you are at your most vulnerable and feeling every one of those emotions, nerves, excitement and maybe possibly holding back a few tears.

This is where I check in. We chat about the feels and the excitement and what the next 20mins will hold. At the end of it all you both walk away together beautifully married.
