Have you noticed the price of chocolate is getting expensive? There's a shortage, and the price just keeps on going up! A lot of chocolatiers are having to raise the prices, including us! We're not going to compromise on quality just to cut costs. We are looking at adding a few non chocolatey items to our line, like way back in the Wandering Cook days when we had our dessert nights. 🍪

This! Brown butter, beurre noisette, in my case burnt butter is liquid gold! Whenever a recipe calls for melted butter, use brown butter instead. It takes your baking to another level! You get another taste sensation, nutty caramel notes.
A tip is add a couple of ice cubes to the brown butter to add back the water that was lost and it helps to cool it down. I use coffee ice cubes in brownies.

It may be coming into winter, but here in Queensland, ice cream is eaten all year round! honey and thyme ice cream in the works.
Last week, I had no idea what to make with their amazing honey, and decided ice cream! You can't go wrong with ice cream! 🍦

I was lucky enough to grab limited honey release. I'm not sure what to make with it...yet. Probably not honeycomb, I made 3 batches last week and all 3 of them bombed! Wasting precious honey 🍯. I'll think of something. 🤔
