Hailey and Mark met, like all good modern romances, on Tinder. Mark actually didn’t think Hailey was real because she hadn’t written a blurb so Mark messaged her and said “Hi, to prove you’re not a bot, what’s your plan for the zombie apocalypse?” And Hailey’s initial thought was “what’s a bot”. But drawing from GOT for inspiration for her answer, she said “zombie mind control”. Let’s just say Mark was hooked, and they still debate the theory to this day.

In classic Mark form, he was slow to ask Hailey out and as he was often working on mining camps away, Hailey said to him, “you totally should ask me out”. Their first date was out south bank, and Mark was late because he was “parking his car”. Hailey messaged him saying “hurry up I’m thirsty”. Once he’d arrive, Mark, being the beer conocer that he is, ordered a raspberry sour beer - it was bright pink - not a good look. But the date was a total hit!

One time casanova Mark messaged Hailey saying “hugging you would be better than this concrete pillow” and another was “just went to the Hails substation, but it’s not as cool as you”. Smoooooth. He totally bombed!! But Hailey recognised the sentiment and messaged back “here’s what went wrong here, and here’s a list of other industrial items you could compare me to…”

Hailey and Mark are such a great couple! So funny and so happy! I absolutely loved sharing their story with their family and friends. What a joy!

Marrying our dear friends in Noosa! What a stunning celebration and glorious weekend! Vinnie and Keeley are truly meant to be - their joyful, loved-up vibes are infectious. The care and admiration these two have for one another is so rare and beautiful to witness. All those who know them adore them🤍🦋

So many of my lovely couples are sprouting babies at the moment! Anyone else feel like anytime they open their insta lately there's another pregnancy announcement? I'm so elated when I see my couple's love stories continue and hear they're growing a family! And these two are no exception!

But you’d never tell that the past few weddings I’ve gotten ready for on the farm (as I wait patiently for the solar and hot water to kick in) I’ve swapped my boots for heels whilst doing my hair and makeup in the car rear view mirror. Do what you gotta do! 🐷

How did Katherine and Chris come to find each other? Well, class is in session! One plus one equals two right? I’m sure you’ve guessed by my terrible puns that Katherine and Chris met at work, as teachers. They kept it a secret at first and played it really well - some people had absolutely no idea. It was all a very covert operation. Their friend Jo was the sparrow between them, reassuring each other and sharing messages.

Katherine and Chris’s first date was to the movies to see Straight Out of Compton”. Teaching a unit on civil rights, they claim they were “going for school”. Before “officially dating” Katherine and Chris went to Europe together - separately together. They were going to Europe anyway, and so they spent the first 2 weeks travelling together. You know, "school research". It was all just working out too perfectly. And, after letting the cat out of the bag, and deciding to be together, the adventures continued like hiking the inca trail in South America, coastal road trips and visiting many wineries.

Things are bubbling and brewing over here on project build a farm from the ground up, but we are loving it! We are dreaming and scheming so many big plans for our 55 acres and I can't wait to share more soon! We are moving out there imminently, and I've already started naming the animals we don't yet have but plan to have - priorities!
We have, however, named the farm and that will be revealed soon! Stay tuned friends!

Sarah and Fred met in Sydney at the new sharehouse Sarah had moved into. Herself and another roomate were newbies, so, naturally, they threw themselves a house warming party. Sarah’s housemate and his brother had a bottle of cafe patron on the bench but kept saying "we have to wait for Fred, we can't drink this without Fred, he's the man!" Whereas Sarah was like “bugger this Fred guy let's start without him”. Fred rocks up hours late, because - Fiji time, and walks into the kitchen. Sarah was all like dayummmmm who are you? And Fred was all like "Hi I am Fred". And from that instant Fred and Sarah hit it off, it was on!

But, Sarah ended up leaving the house party to meet up with work friends and ended up going for a cheeky boogie in Kings Cross. They picked a dirty old club, because they really are the best, and low and behold they bumped into Sarah’s housemate and Fred. When you both pick a dirty old club for a cheeky boogie you know it’s a match made in heaven.

They soon took the party back to the house, via pie face of course for some treats. The sun was coming up and it was time for Fred to head home. As Sarah walked him to the door, he tried to pinch a kiss from her. But apparently Sarah cheekily pushed him down the stairs and said "you have to take me on a date." Fred was then texting Sarah all day the next day.

I just adore these two, we became fast friends I couldn't be happier for them. Big love to Sarah and Fred!

Those fleeting moments when the bride arrives, there's nerves, excitement and anticipation. Moments before everything changes, it's amazing.

Spent my 3 year Celebrant-versary hanging with and helping a lovely friend do her thing at a wedding. And, it was a beautiful blast.
Whether celebrant, guest or coordinator’s right hand - I just love love love weddings!

Hey you little rockstars! If you know copyrighter extraordinaire, Dan, from , you'll know her wedding celebration with her love Paul was a banger! The love that Danielle and Paul share is truly electric.

These two met in a creative writing class they had together at uni. Cast your minds back roughly a decade, MSN messenger was out - Facebook Messenger was in. Danielle and Paul were chatting and apparently Danielle lied and told Paul she could play guitar to try and impress him. Naturally Paul believed her and kept asking for her to show him... And, naturally, Danielle kept stalling. They chatted more about music online and one day Danielle mysteriously dropped a Nikki Sixx book on Paul's desk as she walked past him at uni. Now this was a very bold move as Paul would try to talk to Danielle at uni, but she was too shy and would usually just walk away while he was left talking to her friends. Play hard to get girl!

Danielle and Paul’s first date was to a Motley Crue concert. SO on brand. They caught the bus to Brisbane and Danielle teased Pauls's hair. He wore leopard print and she wore leather pants. At one point, Paul jumped on a giant boulder and said 'look at the moon!' and Danielle thought it was a magical moment and he was truly a unique creature. They started hanging out with mutual friends and spending more time together. Sneaking off from parties to write songs about the sunrise and knee slide across bar floors.

Eventually, Paul asked Danielle to be his girlfriend, but it was through text so she said no! Then, on Valentine's Day, because Paul’s attempt was terrible, Paul got Danielle a Jimi Hendrix record and Danielle asked him to be her boyfriend and he said yes! So rock n roll!

I just adore these two! They are the greatest!

Taryn and Jimmy celebrated 10 years together when they got married. Jimmy had planned the proposal weeks before. He wanted Taryn out of the house so he could make danishes for the next day, so Taryn’s sister planned a movie date together, but they accidentally got tickets for the wrong date. Taryn called Jimmy to say she was coming home so the top pastry chef had to drop the spatula. The next day, they woke up, it was still dark, and took the dog for a walk. Jimmy brought along a bag with all the food he’d managed to make in it. Taryn got hot and wanted to put her jacket in the bag but that didn’t happen because Jimmy wouldn’t let her.

They arrived at the perfect spot, it was dark and no one was around but as a few minutes rolled on, waiting for sunrise, 10-15 of their favourite strangers arrived. With a little stage fright, the proposal turned into a nice conversation rather than a cookie cutter proposal, despite the fact that Jimmy had practised in front of the mirror many times. Not what he planned at all, but it was perfect in every way!

Such a warm, fun loving couple! Boat loads of happiness! These two have grown up together and have grown together. So special.

Standing and smiling on our new farm, yes, WE BOUGHT A FARM! 🐐 🐴 We’re officially trading beach-side for hill-side, bikinis for cowboy boots! So excited for this new adventure!
