This is where the scary part comes in. I love the way this looks right now however it’s not finished. It needs an airplane and a quote for my client. There’s nothing scarier than adding to a painting when you already love the way it looks, and you know the addition will completely transform it however, the easy part is that’s what the client commissioned so it’s out of my hands When it’s a passion project. This next step is very hard because it’s for someone else. It’ll definitely be a lot easier to finish it.

Every home needs one to prepare for the coming of the the only way to bring redemption and the is to prepare for it. When the geulah arrives women play music and tambourines and dance like we did when we crossed the sea. 🙏

Mazel-Tov Lea and twins on Leas batmitzvah. recognize any of these faces :-) 15 years ago I remembered my dream of being a professional artist and I started down that path by drawing Caricatures. To this day it’s by far one of my favorite skills and I am always trying to learn new ways of approaching it. And sure I want to sell my paintings, who wouldn’t but I never want to stop enhancing parties and getting those priceless laughs and smiles.

When I think of my middle name Chana I don’t think of the great aunt I was named after as often as i think of the most famous Chana in history. The Chana who was known as the Mother of Shmuel. The woman who prayed silently to herself popularizing the shemoneh esray and the woman who cried for children. I connected to the silent prayer at a young age and understood her in many ways but always knew there was a disconnect between her need for children and mine. I always wondered how I would reconcile this stark contrast, my lack of desire to bring my own kids into this world while it seemed my namesakes life mission. But as the years go by and as the world grows stranger I find myself connecting to a part of her I never had befor. It’s not that I need to have children myself only hashem knows the plan for that) but we as a people need to have as many children as we can, we need to build our people into a reckoning force, greater in number then those who want to wipe us out. Now more then ever do our people need to grow our families and thrive because that is the only true defense we have against a world that wants to see us disappear.

Who doesn’t love a custom gift? I’ve been making a lot of changes this month and as a means of clearing my head, Ive been , l doing a lot of doodling. And in the process these custom designs were created. The name Jew came from Judea. That and the reality that Jews have been ethnically cleansed at one point or another all over the world on every single contenent and in most recent history all over the Middle East leaves me baffled that there are still people in on this earth who want to abolish Israel as a state. Who want to take our home from us and who keep perpetuating egregious lies about Jews, israel, apartheid, ethnic, cleansing, and colonialism/colonization.
