On the weekend, I had the privilege to work with the amazing team who held the Blue Light Charity Community Ball in Merredin WA and create a beautiful Balloon Garland for their event! 🤩

A 3.5m Ballon Garland in a range of Blue, white and gold shades with a touch of greenery and twinkly lights. The garland was situated outside in the court yard of Cummins Theatre on a beautiful handmade wooden backdrop.

I was even lucky enough to attend the event with a dearest friend and Bruce Rockin’s ~ was a beautiful and well organized event!

A very special shout out to Emma and event organizers and also the team from Merredin flowers and gifts for the last minute assistance of sourcing balloons for the garland! 🥰

Last weekend I had the privileged to create an Aussie Christmas Party for the Narembeen Hospital Staff at the Narembeen Recreation Centre~ Eucalyptus & Golden Sunshine 🌿☀️

A range of eucalyptus greenery incorporated with a hint of golden Christmas decorations under twinkly lights and 3.5m balloon garland in eucalyptus, sand and gold colours with additional decorations. Simplified yet gorgeous setting for any party 🤩

We also teamed with Mel from Status Grazed, who put together the delicious grazing table 🤤

This package will be available to hire from 2022! Changing up the golden decorations so the package can be suited for any event throughout the year 🥳

When you get what you asked for 🤩

My lovely customers were seeking wedding invitations that were Dark Country Themed with a hint of Celtic Influence but struggled to find the perfect fit.

Featured: a Celtic Knot designed out of a rustic rope and rose garland for a corner border with white text and colbolt blue background.
Printed on 300gsm textures card with tear effect edges making each invitation unique.

Please note: details have been removed from the invitations as per request by the customer.

Our little man turned 1 last week!! 😱🥳

We celebrated with friends and family over the weekend ~ was a small and intimate party with simple barnyard styled decorations that just popped! 😁

DAY10 ~ SOCIAL MEDIA GRAPHIC PACK

Happy Friday! Sorry for being a day late!

Earlier this year, I had the privilege to work with Strange Images Photography and designed a graphic pack to create a cohesive social media feed for her business and brand to promote her new photography style of “family connections” I used elements from her logo and brand colours to create the pack and created the templates in Canva for easy editing.

Just a quick Logo design for tonight. Not 100% sure about this one but that's the whole point of this challenge ~ Get creative and see where it takes you. I do like continuing the colour series from yesterday's Pantone.

Most of my designs throughout the challenge will be made up businesses, so be prepare for some crazy stuff 😂

DAY08 ~ BABY MILESTONE CARDS

So we are finally caught up! 💪

I created these milestone cards for The Little Minky Co earlier this year which was my first big project since launching my business.

This pack matches her eucalyptus baby blankets perfectly and is a gorgeous gift for an expecting mum-to-be 🥰

DAY 06 ~ TEXT PORTRAIT POSTER

I thought I would have a go at Photoshop, a design program I haven't used in over a year and it is amazing how much you forget if you don't use the program every day.

Will Smith is one of my favourite actors, I find him inspiring. This is my first time creating something like this and to be completely honest with you all, it took me two days to create this powerful text portrait poster and I am very proud of how it to turned out.

DAY05 ~ PRODUCT LABELS

I scheduled this post as I was cooking dinner, thank goodness for my thermomix which was doing all the hard work 😂

I designed these labels for Lyn’s Creations, a small business that makes homemade chutneys, relishes and macrame products in Bruce Rock. We also used this design to create business cards for her.

And yes, I think these jars look like pots of paint as well 😅 creating mockups are harder than I thought...

DAY04 ~ HARRISON’S 1ST BIRTHDAY INVITES

Better late than never! We know the next few posts of the are a few days behind but we will be all caught up over the next couple of days.

These cute birthday invitations were designed by scratch in Illustrator for a very special boy to us, Harrison. A little farmer in the making and his mum Kaytlyn requested for a green tractor with the model number “4420” as it is the same as his birthday.

DAY03 ~ BROCHURE

What a busy day I had! And sorry for the late post! 😰

I managed to complete an express birthday card design for a customer and researched more about using mockups to display my designs.

Here is my first brochure I designed for my business. I truly believe a well-designed brochure serves as a perfect introduction to your business. 🤓

Our lucky winner Kaytlyn Sprigg already had some Christmas cards organised for her family so she asked if I could design some Birthday Cards that she could use throughout the year ~ we were so excited to design these!

After losing all my posts from the last few months and having a slight meltdown, I thought I just need to breathe and start fresh so reposting my day 1 of my challenge.

I was very surprised, many of you liked my old logo designs more over the new designs ~ tell me why? 🤩

From a Canva designed logo to an original fun, vibrant but yet simple design, perfect for a quick example of a re-brand. I enhanced elements from the original design to create this piece.

We are heading off to the beach! 🏖

We are very excited to finally announce the secret project that we have been working on with The Little Minky Co ~ Milestone Cards! 🥳

Jo contacted us not long after our launch date and asked if we could help her idea come to life and that’s just what we did. Inspiration from her gum leaf blanket and teething knots and greenery from around Bruce Rock, and this beautiful design came to life 🥰

Sometimes a breath of fresh air is all you need 🍃

As one of our first projects, we re-designed the newspaper advertisements for Be You Nails and Beauty Corrigin by using concepts from their logo and, their existing brand colours of teal, black and silver. These advertisements were designed in Canva, allowing easy editing and a range of different concepts available right at their fingertips 🙂

Little bit of design fun this morning! I am currently learning a new design program which has been a testing experience for my 27-year-old brain 😅

Starting up Bubbles & Bowties has gotten me out of my comfort zone which has been scary but also rewarding that's why I believe investing time into learning and self development.

I am pouring my heart and soul into my little business and designing things no matter how big or small for businesses and individuals gets my heart racing with excitement! 🤩

Good Morning!

My morning coffee (and maybe a couple more throughout the day 🙊) is my lifesaver to start my day, especially when I had a long night with my 5.5-month-old Riley and my insomnia played a part as well! Or maybe I was too excited to sleep! 🤗

I am excited to announce that I am working on two projects with two amazing Wheatbelt local businesses! I feel privileged that these businesses approached Bubbles & Bowties for their projects and given me the opportunity to show everyone what I can do! 🤗

Happy Monday!! And what a busy Monday it has been for me 😳

But more importantly, how do you start your week off? For me, I like to re-write my to do list.

I remember when I worked at the CRC before heading off on maternity leave, my to do list would stretch over at least 4 pages of my diary.. Crazy I know! But that's how I like to work, I like to stay busy and work on multiple projects at once 🤩

But exciting times ahead for Bubbles & Bowties! Exciting projects nearly ready for you all to see 🥳
