Thanks The Solstice Space Shiatsu & Acutonics for the photos.
Epic night of amazing people and amazing musicians.
A couple of snaps from the other night.
They tested our power and our tech capabilities. But what an absolute honour to host on our sapwood stage.
It's our dream to have the most professional bush stage, and wow did we hit that dream with such an epic bunch of musicians. Lost for words. Thank you for bringing your energy, your love and yourselves to our space! We are still riding the high! What a beautiful night.
Go follow, attend shows and look them up on streaming platforms.

Here is a little snippet of the epic the other night.
Through slow tech set up, through rain, hail or shine... Piper always puts on such a stunning show! We are so lucky to have Piper on our stage, thank you!! 🙏
If you haven't, make sure you go follow piper, catch her gigs and support live music.
Photos thanks to joya,
Need something... Fingers crossed got you covered!

Like many of the events we work on, a lot of them have the incredible NSR Productions supplying sound and lighting. Such a pleasure working with you!
Central Australia - A Journey of Learning “The more you know, the less you need.” – Australian Aboriginal saying Australia is an old country. Far more pregnant with culture and variety in landscapes than many of us realise. Recently we completed a trip through NSW, QLD, NT and SA, passing through Munga Thirri (5 days of 1000 sand dunes), visiting Uluru and many other Aboriginal lands....

2022 has been a huge exciting busy year full of fun projects, gigs and events.
Covid lockdowns and Post covid was a hard time for the creative industry. We have cancelled Bulga Beats Festival since 2020 and any other event work dried up.
2022 flew by, weekend after weekend of gigs, events and other projects. The back end of this year was everything I asked for and it was tough. Exciting and fun but emotionally and physically tough. But I made it through and I'm so proud of myself.
I would like to give thanks to the people around me who supported and collaborated with sapwood to make this year such a blast!
Thank you to my amazingly talented and caring partner Joya for always picking up the slack, doing the work I cannot and supporting me in everyway!
To my family, you have been following and supporting my dreams through my football career into my events and music career! Thank you for all your help.
Here is a collection of photos from all our work this year.
With gratitude,
Vahid

FUTURE UPDATE:
Hi everyone, what a interesting period of time we are living through right now. It's hard to stay focused on dreams and goals throughout this storm and we hope that in some way you stayed creative and found joy in parts of each day.
I won't say we have been working hard, but we have been working when the motivation is there towards the future of Sapwood, Bulga Beats Festival and new projects. In the coming months we will be launching a few exciting things:
- A guided bush walking business for the Wollemi National Park
- A grand opening for the Sapwood Space
- Regular camp outs at Sapwood
- A pathway for how Bulga Beats Festival 2022 might look
- Retreats
- A Saplings facebook group to connect, meet and organise campouts.
This is all so very exciting, firstly because who isnt ready to dance and connect after Covid blows over and secondly it has been close to 5 years since the journey and dream of sapwood was started with the first post concreted in.
Please message us your email / or keeness on any of this and we can pop you on the mailing list :)
With love and gratitude to all,
Vahid
