The driving force behind Childers Festival consists of many individuals, groups, and organisations working behind the scenes. After another successful four day event, we would like to highlight and thank those who help make it happen!
🔴 Corporate AV are all hands on deck from the earliest bump in to the latest bump out. When stallholder set up is complete and the event stress eases for a large component of the team, the pressure and spotlight stays on them as they operate the stages throughout the event.
🟡 FNQ Security, Shield Traffic Management, EKM Services, Staging Solutions, Handyhire and Active Skip Bins are all involved in the delivery of the event and contribute advice specific to their field to ensure the success of the festival.
🟢 Emergency services and Queensland Police Service myPolice Bundaberg are always there to keep us safe.
🔵 Volunteer groups and individuals including Bundaberg Regional SES Unit, Gin Gin SES, Childers SES, Rotary Club of Childers, Isis Masonic Lodge, CWA Childers, Childers Visual Arts Inc, Goodwood Rural Fire Brigade, Friends of the Festival, Red Collar Rescue Inc., Stallholder Grand Marshall Wayne Thompson, Youths With A Mission and the team at the Isis Sugar Mill all offer up their time across the year to help build the event to be bigger, better and safer.
🟠 Elvery's Electrical Service are not only on site to assist throughout the event but also consult during the massive job that is stallholder allocations.
🟣 Lastly, Childers Festival is proudly brought to you by Bundaberg Regional Council. Departments including Parks and Gardens, Civil Works, Marketing and Communications, Workplace Health and Safety, Civil Design, Health and Regulatory Services, Legal and Governance, Accounts, Procurement, the Multiplex, Moncrieff Entertainment Centre, Bundaberg Regional Libraries and Bundaberg Regional Galleries all come together to bring the Events team's vision to life!
