Happy Birthday to a beloved Ma 👵

Fortunately, I had the freedom of picking the design for this cake. All that was said was that it only needed to be “simple” in design. I absolutely LOVE the look of the palette knife flowers and look forward to exploring this technique further!

I would also like to mention this cake was ordered by a returning customer, which brings me lots of joy 🫶🏻

Today we have some chocolate and vanilla cupcakes for a customer wanting to pop their own toppers on top! I will be honest, I felt like the cupcakes were a little naked upon delivery, however there is something very satisfying about the simple checkered look!

Featured are vanilla cupcakes with vanilla buttercream, and chocolate cupcakes with chocolate buttercream.

I had the pleasure of making a quick basic vintage heart for Mon who was moving onto a new role. To show their appreciation, her amazing coworkers organised a cake to say goodbye! 🤩

It seems they liked my Valentine’s Day theme! 💝

I called this cake Daisy, can we name a cake? Who knows…
This was a 3 tier cake with buttercream icing. Tier 1 and 2 (starting from the bottom) was a delicious chocolate mudcake and Tier 3 was a red velvet sponge at request. I made the barbed wire out of fondant and gave it a dust with a copper shimmer. All of the cow patches were made from fondant and the flowers are edible too!
