NETBALL FINALS: Congratulations to The Waves Netball Club and Brothers Netball Club, who battled very windy conditions on Saturday. It certainly was a test to our arch setups to stand up in such conditions, so final's teams could run through onto the court to signal the beginning of the matches and for after-match photos.

PART 1 - 2025 First Nations Careers Dorrie Day: One of the biggest events for Hinkler Parties was held at the CQUniversity Bundaberg on Thursday. For me it was a week of preparing balloon setups especially designed for Dorrie Day. Here is a sneak peak of three trips of van/cars/trailer loads stored overnight for a 6am Thursday setup.

CLASSIC DESIGN: Although I do enjoy designing garlands, my favorite balloon pieces are based on pole designs from table tops to party poles. After a mini break to Brissy wholesalers and being inspired by another Brisbane balloon artist, I am looking forward to adding new ideas and products. UNICORN MAGIC: It's pretty special when I am asked again to create a wonderful, themed photo backdrop to capture birthday memories. They grow up so fast! Every year I return to find babies grown into little people, who still love the magic of balloons. I first met Arzoie when she was turning one and I created a Minnie Mouse setup for her, but unfortunately, I was injured and couldn't make her 2nd birthday garland, so it was wonderful to be able to do this unicorn-themed setup for her 3rd birthday. I wonder if Arzoie, and all my other little balloon buddies, will remember Jen, their balloon artist?
