What a privilege the weekend was - holding space for Spring Equinox Grief Circle with Ink and Insight - Art Therapy and Counselling . It was a journey of healing, creativity, and connection. Together, we moulded our emotions into clay, giving tangible form to the sorrow and memories that often remain unspoken.

In the process of washing our hands clean after working with the clay, we symbolically washed away the layers of grief that no longer serve us - allowing us to honour our past and embrace the present with a newfound sense of peace.

To everyone who shared their stories and artistry this weekend, thank you for your vulnerability and courage. These moments of shared creativity remind us that we are not alone in our grief, and that it is possible to transform pain into something beautiful.

I can buy crackers from the supermarket and create this much waste or I can buy higher nutrition crackers (and much tastier) from a local supplier Garden Kitchen Witch’n ordered through my local distribution food systems Southern Harvest Association delivered in a reused glass jar

What a great bunch we've let loose here !! The very first PDC put together by PEAS - Permaculture Education ACT & Surrounds. The first PDC taught by Lizzy and Sam with Cally pulling the design process together and Yergen the aquaculture and fermentation. And then there was Sam's catering....another level served with warmth and nourishment.
Great pleasure to support this initiative and help plant the PEA seed

This week I had the privilege of walking some folks through conscious poultry killing.

To me, staying connected and WITH what is happening at the end of life is an absolutely critical part of reconnecting to our food and ourselves and the whole of cycles that we all live within.

The practical skills associated with these processes aren’t as common as they have been through most of human history, and it’s a deeply radical act to regain these skills.

I have a mobile setup and can offer this assistance to other folks with roosters and humans who are ready for this.
