Hanging with friends while working with fire - watch to the end.

This way of working with fire has been part of this land for such a long long long time, and thankfully there’s more and more opportunities to participate.

If you ever get the chance to be at a cultural burn, do it ! Or support folks who are doing this important work.

There’s also books like Fire Country and podcasts like Good Fire to help with thinking differently about fire 🔥 🌱

What a glorious day today. Sunshine, good food, new and old friends, even a slight tale wind for the committed cyclist !

Just a few happy snaps from the gentle launch (trial run) of the kitchen trailer !

Plenty of learnings and adjustments and ways to improve, and of course plenty of things that went very well 🙂

Looking forward to bringing good local food to the occasional event, or your big or small celebration and a weekly pop up right here in Wamboin.

Don’t mind me … just enjoying my first loaf from the micro bakery in Wamboin ! Woolshed Lane Sourdough = yum.

It feels pretty special to me to pick up my fresh loaf of bread while on my dog walk … in sunshine, after rain. It is a very good day !

I am beyond grateful to everyone who’s helped get the kitchen trailer crowdfunder to this point. It’s incredible, and mind blowing for me. I’ve got a lotta work to do and a lotta money to put in myself, and I’m so excited (and a little nervous) about this amazing adventure !

I missed getting one that came up in Canberra, so I’m back to looking further afield and will keep ya updated on the progress !
