Like shoeies and a bunnings sausage sizzle, we love a good old tradition. So traditionally, with the number 7 being such a lucky number, we’ve decided to dedicate Mama JuJu Vol. 7 entirely to the music gods - this time featuring a whole heap of music from across the continent of Africa. 🌍

With Rua Te Weehi (L Van Groove) & Simon Mellor on curation duties, expect reflections of the massive variety of African culture, language and rhythm in the music; from eastern Arabic earworms to western afro boogie, infused amongst those classic Mama JuJu good vibes and some real healthy burners throughout the night.

Eardrum tickling assured and hydration stations at the ready, with Yonder's most handsome bartenders channeling their inner artist for this events cocktail special.

Make sure you wear your best party shirt!

Rua Te Weehi (L Van Groove) & Simon Mellor curate the first edition of Mama JuJu, the very first music event hosted at Yonder Bar, Margaret River.

All. Vinyl. All. Night 🔈

Whilst some might explain that as ‘A listening experience’ we like to decorate it more as “a top-notch eclectic groove fest” designed sincerely and honestly for your aural pleasure.

These 2 legends will be digging deep in their record crates to provide you some unshazamable-original-funky-new-old-alternative-disco-eclectic-wonky-jazzy-afro- groovy-exotic-soulful choones.

Our rockstar bartenders are also concocting a special cocktail for the occasion.🍹
