Hi Everyone!

Firstly, I hope you are all well, healthy and getting ready for a big end of year.

I am emailing you to inform you of some changes to 2025 SWDI. As some of you may know I am due with my second mid-November and while I always aim to provide the best service and run these workshops to better the dancers and maintain inspiration over the school holiday break, I have realistically looked into this season and believe I will be pushing my buttons with such a large convention style workshop, not much assistance and a newborn. I will not cancel the workshop; I will be making it more manageable and bringing it back to where it all started. The studios. :)

This year’s workshop will be called SWDI Mini and run over 2 and 3 days.
The workshop will run as follows.
• MINIS & JUNIORS (ages 5-12) - Monday 13th & Tuesday 14th.
• TEENS & SENIORS (ages 12+) - Wednesday 15th, Thursday 16th, & Friday 17th.

Other things to note for 2025:
• No changes to times.
• Juniors, Teens and Seniors will run 9-5pm. Minis will be 9:15-1:00pm.
• 3-6 Faculty & Teachers over the week, depending on age group.
• All styles included! TAP is BACK!
• No audition class on the last day. Awards will be chosen based on classes.
• Juniors total usually $295.00, NOW $195.00
• Teens & Seniors usually $450.00, NOW $295.00
• Minis cost remains the same at $60.00 a day or $110.00 for two days.
• Venue – 13a Cook Street, Busselton 6280
• Beach Party of course still a GO AHEAD!
• Maximum 35 dancers per age group, so don’t miss out!

Questions:
Q: I won a ½ or full scholarship in 2024, what does this mean?
A: Scholarships from 2024 can still be redeemed for the 2025 season! You also have the chance to hold your scholarship to 2026.
Clear communication on your choice is required!

Q: I won Protégé for 2025, what does this mean?
A: YES, we still want protégés at SWDI 2025. Protégés are welcome for the full 5 days, regardless of their age.

Q: I have tickets already, what’s my choices?
A: You have a few choices. We still really want to see you at our SWDI 2025 event!
1. CREDIT - You can get a credit for the difference. For example, you have purchased a ticket for $450.00 and the price is now $295.00. We can credit you $155.00 back. Juniors Tickets were $295.00 in which case you will be credited $100.00 or the 2025 season.
2. POSTPONE - We can postpone your FULL ticket to 2026 where we will have our first convention style workshop at the NEW Performing Arts CENTRE!
3. TRANSFER - We can transfer the difference of $155.00 or $100.00 to the 2026 season. (Again, Clear communication is essential to ensure no loss of income for yourself or SWDI)

IMPORTANT
• Refunds must be requested before November 1st.
• Refunds will be processed before the end of the year.
• Credits for 2026 will be transferred and applied after the 2025 season.

Please be patient in the coming months, as we tackle a busy term 4. Staff will get back to you as soon as possible with any questions and enquires.
