This is the set I performed for Hiatus. This mix meant a lot to me as I delved into my past. This mix goes from UK Rap, Grime, Garage and Funky house. I was very fortunate to grow up in London at the height of these genres being played. I realise now how lucky I was to experience such a great moment in UK music history. I was 15 with a fake ID and £10 pocket money. We would hit the squat raves in Hackney Wick and Tottenham Hale and we had the times of our lives. We would be dancing on the speakers, deep in mosh pits and always getting into some sh*t. We were always first on the dance floor and last to leave. Special shout outs to Trina, Demi, Aziz and Ellie, these 4 witnessed it ALL.
