Hi friends, Last weeks special ! So dreamy ! Hot crab risotto, picked apple, herb and Ballina spanner crab ! The mix of the hot crab with the cold and the pickled apple was next level ! Defo bringing this one back !

Hi friends I’m back from a weekend off and starting this Friday I’ll be shucking $2.50 oysters (minimum of 4) every Friday from 4pm ! These oysters are absolutely stunning care of my mates and come get some before they are all gone !

Hi friends ! A week or so ago we did some offsite catering for the wonderful Deidre and her friends. If you have a dinner get together or event you would like catered offsite get in touch with us ! Hello friends ! Chilled red coral prawn crudo, risotto Nero, bisque of the shells, dill oil. These prawns are one of my favourites! Small like a school prawn but as sweet as a scallop when eaten raw ! We give them a super quick bite in lemon oil and nice just before serving ! This dish is delicious! Be brave ! 😂❤️

Hi friends !! This is the last week we have our mate with us until he jets off back home to Bonny Scotland ! 🏴 he’s been a massive part of our business and family since he has been with us and to say we will miss him is a massive understatement! His commitment, professionalism, creativity are second to none and can proudly say is my mate. In saying this we are still looking for a chef ! Hello friends ! Hope you’re all happy and healthy ! Thank you for all the wonderful feedback from my last post the current financial climate for a lot of Byron bay business at the minute is dire ! Lots of people suffering. So in light of this we will be changing with that climate and every Wednesday night we will be showcasing two or three main course specials for just $20 each! Essentially feeding your family of four for $60 ! This week Wednesday night we will be doing
Fried Louisiana chicken brioche burger, smoked hot sauce kewpie, cheese, baby gem lettuce and fries
Italian sausage, san marzano tomato, creamy Polenta taragna, pickled red onion and parsley salad
Potato gnocchi, zucchini, smoked almonds, mint and Parmesan

Hello friends ! Just a quick appreciation post as Byron is super super quiet so I thought I would mention tin a few of my favourite places to go in Byron and surrounds you will never see in mainstream recommendations! So here they are ! If you have a Byron bay fav that flies under the radar comment below
1. bowerbird dining and events - Byron golf club - duh !!
2. .ho_kitchen - a firm family favourite my son’s favourite by far ! Highly recommend the yuzu sour cocktail and the chicken wings !
3. - murgh kebab masala spicy ❤️it has my heart ! They do some epic epic Indian street food also !
4 .spanish.foods - my man Javier makes the freshest Spanish baguettes around the jamon, grated tomato, olive oil with added manchego ! ❤️ my love for this is large
5 - fantastic Italian pizzas, byo and a fantastic staff always highly recommended to anyone new to Byron !
#6 - Jules and the guys are super helpful with any wine, beer or spirits you may need ! Buy 6 bottles of wine ( no specials) and get a whopping %20 off !
#7 .winestore - a wine lovers dream Russ and Sam have a wealth of knowledge to share and the wines are just divine ! They also do free tastings and intro to natural wine courses and clubs ( coming soon to 🥰)
