Echinacea - this amazing plant is well known for its medicinal healing properties but did you know it also has beautiful flower that can last up to 10 days in a vase. ​​​​​​​​

I get asked all the time what my favourite flower is, as much as I don’t play favourites (do you pick your favourite child?) these babes are definitely high up on the list. Once petals drop off it’s also cool to use just the centre seed pod (which will dry out) to add an earthy element to designs. &design

This week in the field 🌿

It’s been a hot one! They say if you make it through your second summer farming you’ll be here for life, well this is my 6th summer on The Farm so I guess I’m here to stay :)

By mid December each year things are starting to get a bit wild. Don’t get me wrong summer flowers are amazing! Everything is absolutely pumping, it’s big, showy and abundant but also the grass 😳
