Alstroemerias are back in abundance! While these blooms never cease to impress with their continuous flowering, we finally have enough to set some aside for ourselves. They're such troopers, known for their longevity and versatility in any bouquet, and come in nearly every shade imaginable.

I can't get enough of this vibrant orange variety. 🧡 We’ve *finally* had our stuff from London arrive and are in the chaos of unpacking, but I found a box full of vases so had to fill one immediately! Still life of Cat, boots and blooms. It’s art.

How darling are these Pom-pom Gerberas? Even if you’re not a Gerberas fan, you have to admit these are pretty adorable. Personally Gerberas were my first love when it came to flowers. As a child, I'd always beg my mum to buy me one from the lovely traveling plant lady at the Richmond races to add to my collection, they are just such a happy flower 😍 So it’s pretty fortunate that we live 3 minutes from a specialist Gerberas grower for me to indulge my fancy!

These pink Pom-poms inspired this pink and yellow lavish bunch, they pair so beautifully with the king protea and out pink snappies, and I got to use some of the wattle!

An armful of sunshine ☀️ Of all the plants we had to leave behind in London, our wattle tree is the one I miss the most. There is nothing so cheerful on a grey winters day as the fluffy yellow pom-poms of a wattle! I’ve been busy planting as many different varieties here on the farm as I can but until they mature we’re lucky to be enjoying the abundance delivered fresh from a farm up the road.

Wattle will be a feature in our arrangements this week so if you’re also a wattle lover get in quick to place your order.

If only you could smell this! Our workshop is brimming with gorgeous, scented, and textured foliage this morning. We can't wait to see the magic Ellie will create with it all!

While we don’t yet have a large collection of native plants on the farm, we’re fortunate to have strong relationships with local growers. Thanks to them, we have an abundance of beautiful South African leucadendrons and native foliages to add to our shop bouquets.

Sweet Williams are one of my favourite cut flowers! Long lasting, sweetly scented, and blooming at a time when there often isn’t much else. But I’ve never know them to grow so tall! Must be some about the soil here, some of these stems are close to 80cm!!

Had a lovely sleep-in today to recover from the Mother’s Day rush! Now it's back to work. 😊 Our cold room was emptied out by Saturday—it was like old Mother Hubbard's cupboard! We've restocked with fresh flowers from the farm, received a delivery of floristry supplies, and updated our online shop with all our latest offerings. Visit us at the farm shop tomorrow, open as usual from 9:30 AM to 4 PM! 🌸

I just adore this stunning double-sized bouquet featuring all the pretty pink blooms grown right here on our farm, expertly crafted by the talented Ellie! 🌸 It includes a magnificent king protea as the focal point—could there be a more impressive flower? I still can’t believe I can grow these! I wish you could smell these heavenly scented roses, including some beautiful old English David Austin varieties, we also used lots of fragrant foliage, and our dependable old faithful: Alstroemeria.

How simple but stunning is a deadheaded dahlia floating in a bowl? On the farm, we've started the great dahlia dig and divide, which will keep us busy for the foreseeable future. While our harvests may not be as plentiful as summer, we still have a few bunches available each week. Swing by the shop to pick up your favorites before they're gone!
