What’s up ShackleR’s ,

We hope everyone’s had an awesome Christmas and recovering well after all of the festivities.

We’re extremely grateful that Mungalli falls has welcomed us in to their beautiful venue, mungalli has been an outstanding venue in far North Queensland for dance music event for over two decades. It really is spectacular.

Accommodation and Camping is now available to be booked, we understand there will be some questions that need to be asked.

We will get across these as quickly and smoothly as possible.

- Camping,

Our camping at mungalli is in the recreational centre side of the venue, beautiful green rolling hills with enough space to fit everyone comfortably. Camping price per person $20 plus BF

- Dorms,
Have been separated in to 15 people groups, this option suits larger groups or smaller groups that would be happy to share accommodation for the event.

It’s a great option to make new friends or catch up with old ones.


At this stage ULYSSES dorm A and B will be all female, we want to make sure everyone feels safe and accommodated. With 10 more dorms available for unisex groups.

There is two options, with linen or without.
*Single bunks

The main reason we have done this is to keep the prices down and hopefully accommodate everyone accordingly.
Two toilets and Two showers per dorm.
Dorm without linen $35 PP plus BF, with linen $52 PP plus BF

- Cabins,
We have extremely limited numbers of cabins, this option suits a max group size of 4 people and come with linen.
*Single Bunks
All cabins have Ensuite’s
Cabins $240 Plus BF

Merry Christmas Shackle R’s

Important announcement for Amped New Year’s Eve Event. ( Please share with friends attending )

Firstly we would like to thank everyone for being so patient over the last 10 days, as I don’t say this lightly our area has been completely turned upside down due to cyclone jaspers aftermath. We have been working around the clock to bring everyone updated answers as fast as we can, as well as securing a backup venue.

Due to the severe effects on the road with-in the Daintree we will no longer be able to use PKs jungle village as our venue for nye.

We do however have an amazing back up venue ( Mungalli falls recreation centre ) 1.5 hours from Cairns and 2.5 hours from Port Douglas

Music program and runtimes will go as planned, there is also accommodation and camping options onsite at mungalli that will be available to be booked. ( More details, pricing and booking system coming shortly )

Anyone who can’t make it to the new venue please contact the page and we will go through all available options.

Anyone with accommodation at PK’s,
They have vowed to honour your booking anytime over the next 12 months, we have a number of events planned with them and once the road is open again we will start selecting some dates that hopefully work for our guests.

If your accommodation was booked outside of PK’s we suggest you make contact and ask for a similar deal.

What’s up Shackle R’s,

Just incase anyone missed the updates from this week.

The venue is in great condition, we’re currently waiting for the road crews to make their way through from Thorton’s to PK’s.

The event will go ahead regardless, the second venue option is open as well and will be the last resort if PK’s is unreachable.

Refunds only occur if the event doesn’t go ahead, we’re doing our best to ensure everyone has an amazing NYE experience, anyone that has bought tickets and Is now cut off from the outside world due to flood damage please send the page a message and we will go through some options we have for you guys. ( We still have 8 days till the event please be patient )

Once we have more news from the road crews we will give everyone another update.

We have our final release of acts ready to be released Christmas Eve, keep your eyes peeled.

What’s up Shackle R’s,

Wow what a week of some of the most insane weather we have experienced in FNQ, we hope all of our friends and family are safe and well through these times. Our heart go out to the people who have had their homes lost or flooded.

The rain has finally stopped and we even managed to see some blue sky today, things are looking up.

At this stage Amped NYE in the Daintree Rainforest is still going ahead at PK's Jungle Village, as the flood water starts to recede we will have a better idea of the conditions of the roads to site and if local authorities feel that it’s safe to do so we will be at PK’s for NYE.

We’re working on a back up venue just incase, the event will run 100%. All we can do for now is sit tight and wait.

In other news our final release of acts is coming this week and we have under 100 final release tickets remaining.

What’s cracking Shackle R’s’

We have a few details regarding some questions that are being asked.

Q1
Gates open at 10am on 31st for general admission and Pk Campers, anyone with rooms/dorms will have to wait until 12pm to guarantee their rooms are ready for check-in. This is earlier then standard check in time with the accommodation, anyone arriving earlier may have to wait until their rooms are ready before checking in.

Q2
Music run times
31st-/ 12pm - 2am
1st-/ 10am - 12am

Q3
Tickets to Amped NYE in the Daintree Rainforest are for the (Event Only) accommodation needs to be sourced separately. Anyone interested in attending should pre purchase their tickets as the event will be a (SOLD OUT EVENT) - under 100 remaining!!!

PK’s and Ocean safaris is fully booked, there is a number of other accommodation options super close to the venue ( a simple Google search will reveal all )

Q4
As per all of our events we don’t allow pets or animals of any description at the event unless their an assistance dog.

Q5
Final round lineup to be released week before Christmas.
