Golden Roast is now recruiting for cooks cooks assistants and juniors for the upcoming wedding season to join our team, both in Cairns and Atherton Tablelands.

No experience is required but catering experience would be an advantage. Training will be done on site.

We are mobile caterers, we go to the customers venue and cater on site.

You need to be well presented with a neat and tidy appearance, and able to converse with customers where necessary.

You need a current drivers licence (juniors - not required) , the willingness to work and to commit to Saturday nights (there may be other days when required).

We are catering to peoples weddings and special events, so you need to turn up when you are rostered.

Attention to detail, the ability to work with others and to take direction. Some heavy lifting is required, so you need to be reasonably fit and energetic.

Current award wages paid (plus travel when required).

Great second income for stay at home parents, uni students or people that would like a few extra $$.

This job requires you to be vaccinated as per Australian law mandates.

Immediate start.

Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19)
To our Valued Customers,

As a result of the spread of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) and its recent declaration by the
World Health Organisation as a public health emergency, Coast to Coast the Golden Roast is
taking appropriate action to ensure the safety, health and well-being of our staff, customers and
suppliers.

We will be undertaking all guidelines set out by governing authorities as well as additional
measures around site visitation and segmenting our teams.

Our primary focus is on hygiene at our site and at the point of delivery to you.

What does that mean for you?
· Staff who have recently traveled will not be returning to work for the standard 14-day period.
Staff who present with any illness are required to obtain a letter from their GP before
returning to work.
· Our Staff will sanitize their hands, workspace and equipment frequently during the course of
the function.
· Our staff will wear Gloves and change on a regular basis during the function.
· We recommend you have a “Hand Washing” station provided for your guests
· I will contactable through all the current channels of communication

We will continue to monitor the situation very closely as it unfolds to ensure we provide the
highest standard of service.
