It was the culmination of an amazing trip around Australia with their children and the day didn’t disappoint💫

How about this backdrop for a secret elopement?!💫

Up in the Sicilian mountains, Savoca is a Norman fort town. Famous for its connection to “The Godfather” movies. A Mecca for tourists on the Godfather trail.

This breathtaking view is right at the top at the Borgo San Rocco, and yes you can stay there! Lovingly renovated and brought to life by the wonderful Vittorio and his team. This venue will look after you, treat you like family and happily host your wedding of any size💙

But did you know you can also get married in the church where Michael Corleoni (Al Pacino) marries Apollonia? Or in the bar where he asks for her hand in marriage?

With respect to the traditional owners, “Uncle Errol” welcomed them to country. Together they dropped quartz into the river as an act of bonding them to the land and each other.

Inspiration can appear in a variety of ways from a multitude of different places.
I read when I can, I listen to podcasts in the car, I talk a lot & I listen to people’s stories💙
Sometimes a quote can send me off on a tangent or a poem can send me down a rabbit hole of ideas.
One idea can spark another & one word can lead to another & another, so I end up with far too many. Then I have to decide which words suit you & your story… And which words are the ones I have to let go of
Just like life….

Just before Easter this breathtaking moment happened in Port Douglas
The lead up to Tillie & Justine’s Micro Wedding was a bit trepidacious. We quested the weather, the location, the suppliers and some health issues but we won out in the end.💙
The final result at Sexy Rexy was a triumph of romance and a picture perfect afternoon. These two girls are every bit as gorgeous as this pic and their love is as bright as the FNQ sun💫

And everyone knows I love a good twisty bit of wood

Their wedding was epic, from the fact that Sam made so many of the intricacies of the day, from their shoes and the groomsmen’s belts to the actual shed they got married in.
Jami-Lees entrance was by helicopter… also epic!

No matter when you’re getting married, don’t forget to book your celebrant as early as possible…🤪

Your choice of celebrant is more important than you may think and without them, it’s just a fancy party!

Your celebrant doesn’t just do the legal stuff, but obviously that’s important… They set the tone for the whole day.

We’re all different people with different personalities, different styles, different levels of creativity and different business practices, aswell as different prices.
Some celebrants are full time, some are part time, but rest assured.. We all do it because we absolutely love it. Some love love, most of us love to talk, others love to help and some really love to party🤩
