We would like to take a moment to acknowledge and thank Sunny Tan, our dedicated Venues Coordinator of six years, for her outstanding contribution to the Cairns Showgrounds.

Sunny has moved on to pursue new opportunities, and while she will be deeply missed, we wish her all the very best in her new role.

In her place, we are excited to welcome Emily Barker, who has stepped into the role of Venues Coordinator.

Though new to the position, Emily brings great enthusiasm, and we are confident she will excel. You may also recognize Emily as the lone wolf of FNQ Roar Media.

Early voting for the upcoming State Elections begins Monday 14th - Friday 18th October and Monday 21st - Friday 25th October, between 8am - 6pm.

Please note, the Cairns Showgrounds will not be used as a polling place on Election Day, Saturday 26th October. The nearest polling booth is Parramatta Park State School.

The Cairns Show Association office is open from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
You can find us just on the left as you enter through the main gates at the corner of Severin Street and Mulgrave Road. Look out for the sign pointing towards our door to guide you in the right direction.
If you've won a prize, be sure to collect your prize money from our office between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM before the 30th of August.

Prize money over $50 will be directly deposited into your designated account after the 30th of August, as outlined in the Competition Schedules.
If you haven't yet provided your bank details, please contact the office as soon as possible to ensure your payment is processed without delay.
