Looking for some quiet time?
On Monday's at the Marlin Coast Neighbourhood Centre, Armchair Yoga is on from 9.30am-10.30am. Armchair Yoga promotes relaxation, reduces stress, and improves mental clarity. Like other forms of exercise, seated yoga may also help improve mood, your confidence, and relieve anxiety and depression. Focusing on your body movement, your breathing, and how your body is reacting to the exercise creates a kind of moving meditation. Armchair Yoga incorporates quiet time, breathing practices, joint mobility, and balance awareness.
$10 per class. Carers are also welcome and are free.
