I’m honestly at a bit of a loss of where to start with this wedding, as it’s unlike any wedding I have ever had the privilege of officiating.
Prior to the actual ceremony, Mat & Chenae facilitated an experience like no other, a deep dive if you will, into love and what that meant to everyone there. We journaled and learnt a lot about ourselves.
Each guest had the opportunity to stand up and speak to Mat and Chenae individually and express their love for them, and to them. We cried, we laughed, and guests who had never met before got to know each other.
It really goes to show that weddings can be what you want them to be. There are no rules about what can and can’t be included (minus the legal nitty gritty)so you should really make it your own.

In June I got to marry one of my oldest, most wonderful friends. I don’t think there was a dry eye in the place when Ben spoke the some really special words to their little girls. I’m a pretty sensitive person at the best of times so I will often shed a tear during your vows, but this one got me good! 📸

Emily and Tarrant got married on the tablelands in an outdoor ceremony, under the shade of a beautiful big tree.

We wove their story throughout the ceremony and shared some laughs and shed a few tears ❤️
