Reminder time folks.
Probably our last go at soup for this year as the weather improves and on the menu this week we have the hearty number of chicken, bacon and sweetcorn. This will come with roasted red pepper and zucchini muffins. We will need a container with a lid for the soup, and something for the muffins.
$12.50 per serve, $50 for 4 etc.
Dessert is the deliciously moist whole orange syrup cake, making full use of the glorious citrus fruit around at the moment. This cake is gluten free.
$28 for a whole, $7 for an individual.

On the menu this week we have a meat free delight- roasted vegetable filo pie. This delicious pie is all about the layers of vegies interspersed with feta and a few herbs in a filo pastry shell. Full of flavour and full of good-for-you vegies.
You will need a 20cm springform tin for 4 serves, a log tin for 2 serves, or a small ovenproof ramekin for a single serve. Don’t worry if you haven’t got any of these, we can loan them to you, but just easier if you have your own.

Dessert is a country classic, apple and cinnamon slice. Apple slices on a vanilla butter cake base, then a creamy topping baked on the top. Still yummy after all these years.

A very good morning to everyone on this beautiful day. Hope you all get to enjoy some of that lovely sunshine.

Dessert is our second favourite cake, French strawberry dessert cake. Strawberries have finally come down a little in price as their new season comes in, so we are making the most of it. This is an incredibly light cake, studded with strawberries, and oh, so delicious.

A very good morning to everyone on this beautiful day. Hope you all get to enjoy some of that lovely sunshine.

Lamb and rosemary pie with a potato/parsnip mash. Tender lamb and vegies cooked in a full flavoured gravy, then topped with buttery mash with parsnips folded through it.

Totally forgot to post a reminder yesterday, too busy gardening so sorry this is late.
It is Arancini week!
We are offering 3 varieties- pumpkin and feta; spinach and mushroom and Mediterranean which have salami, sundried tomatoes and olives in them.
All are delicious as you well know and we are making them in 2 sizes. Cocktail (normal) size are $1.50 each, and dinner sized which are $4.50 each.
They freeze beautifully, so stock up or just have them as snacks while watching the Olympics!
Keeping with the ‘round’ theme, the sweet treat is golden oat biscuits with a chocolate ganache filling. A little like a supersized homemade Kingston biscuit. These will be $5 each.

Main course is a ham hock and vegetable risotto with a rosemary and Parmesan crumble. Definitely a ‘one pot’ dish. We will need ovenproof dishes for this one please.

Dessert/sweet treat is a cake l haven’t made for years but l remember well for its delicious fudgy, and moist texture - chocolate and beetroot cake which has a chocolate ganache topping for a double whammy of the good stuff! Like all cakes with vegetables in them, you don’t really taste it, it just adds moisture, texture, and in this case, a brilliant colour. $28 for a whole, $7 for an individual serve.

Mains is a chicken and sweetcorn red curry noodle soup. It has Thai flavourings with a little bit of heat, but not too hot. It will come with a dipping bread to soak up the delicious flavours. $12.50 per serve, $50 for 4 etc.
The cake is a spiced ginger cake with coffee buttercream icing. A lovely moist cake that would freeze well. $28 for a whole, $7 for an individual serve.
