Reminder time folks. We’re back after a lovely relaxing break, recharging those batteries.
We are starting the year with our most popular dish- spinach and ricotta cannelloni. Think you all know what that consists of but for the uninitiated, it is a blend of spinach and different sorts of cheeses piped into cannelloni shells, then nestled into homemade tomato sauce before before being covered with a thin layer of creamy bechamel sauce. Finally it has a little more cheese and crunchy breadcrumbs on top. Delicious! We will need an ovenproof dish for this one please.
Our prices have remained the same, $12.50 per serve, $50 for 4 etc.
Dessert is a plum and almond crumble slice, using the last of my delicious blood plums that l managed to save from the birds. They have obviously worked out my four-legged bird scarer is missing and are going for it. This will be $28 for a whole slice, $14 for half, $7 for a quarter.

Happy New Year to all our wonderful customers and friends. Hope 2025 is a great one for you and your families.
We are having a break over January for our weekly meals after a very hectic December but will be back on deck at the end of January.
Some sad personal news is that l had to say goodbye to our chief meeter and greeter, the gorgeous Dougall on Christmas Eve. Much
sooner than l had anticipated but it was the right decision for him even though l am heartbroken. At least you can come in the back gate now without his signature move of crotch sniffing!

Rustic Tarts Food Christmas Goodies- only 2 days to go for orders, so get in quick!

Well, that time of the year is nearly upon us so time to do some planning! Let us help you with delicious treats for the festive season.
Please be aware that we are going to restrict the amount we make of each item as we were totally overwhelmed with orders last year, so get in early to avoid disappointment!

This year we have a range of savoury and sweet delights including something special for your four-legged friends.

On offer we have-
Pumpkin and feta or spinach and mushroom arancini balls $1.60 each or $19.20 per dozen
Thai fish cakes available in two sizes, $1.60 cocktail size or $4.70 for more substantial.
*please note that both of the above will come frozen and we can assure you they freeze very well.

Smoked trout pate in a smoked salmon case. They come in 3 sizes $13 for the small, $17 for medium and $20 for the larger ones. These will come to you fresh, but they also freeze well if you want to keep them for a later date.

Now for the sweet-
Festive shortbread, $13 per bag
Mini yo-yo’s, $14 per bag
Deluxe homemade mince pies, $3.70 each or $44 per dozen
Decadent flourless chocolate cake (GF) $30
French strawberry dessert cake $ 30
Peanut butter Dougall biscuits for your favourite pooch $12

If you would like anything else outside these offerings give us a call, but please be aware we may not be able to help, depending on the amount of orders we have.
Last orders by 5pm on Friday, 13th December. Final pick up day is the 23rd of December. If you would like to pick them up earlier, please just let us know.

We have a new dish on the menu this week- pork, sage and white wine crepes. These are very thin pancakes, stuffed with a mixture of pork mince and vegetables, flavoured with a little bit of sage and parsley, that are then covered with a tomato sauce and a mixture of cheeses, ready to be baked by you!
$12.50 per serve, $50 for 4 etc. We will need an ovenproof dish for this one please.
Dessert is a lime and coconut syrup cake, a delicious and moist sweet treat.
$28 for a whole, $7 for an individual.

For main course, risotto Primavera. A delicious blend of vegies, including asparagus, sugar snap peas and semi sundried tomatoes with a cheesy risotto base.
$12.50 per serve, $50 for 4 etc.
The sweet treat makes use of my abundant lemon supply - lemon crinkle biscuits. Light, soft baked but chewy, melt in your mouth zingy flavoured biscuits. There will be 3 biscuits per serve, which will be $7.
Text or phone Liz on 0421321193 before 1pm Wednesday for Friday pickup.
* We realise it can be difficult to get containers to us beforehand, especially if you don’t live in town, but please be assured we always have disposable containers available if this is the case. Just let us know. We only started with ‘bring your own containers’ because we were creating so much waste, but the alternative is always there.
Ps. Don’t forget to order your Christmas goodies- see separate post!
